I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame.


I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not abandon them.


Bring out a people who are blind, yet have eyes, and are deaf, yet have ears.


Watch! I am going to bring them from the northern land. I will gather them from remote regions of the earth   – the blind and the lame will be with them, along with those who are pregnant and those about to give birth. They will return here as a great assembly!


I will leave a meek and humble people  among you, and they will take refuge in the name of the  Lord.

The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

At that time Jesus healed many people of diseases,  afflictions, and evil spirits,  and he granted sight to many blind people.

For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed, and many who were paralysed and lame were healed.


Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world  to be rich in faith  and heirs  of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?
