(though Jesus himself was not baptising, but his disciples were),


So when the Samaritans came to him,  they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there for two days.


After she and her household were baptised, she urged us, ‘If you consider me a believer in the Lord, come and stay at my house.’  And she persuaded us.


When they heard this, they were baptised into the name of the Lord Jesus.


Peter replied, ‘Repent  and be baptised,  each of you, in the name  of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


But when they believed Philip, as he proclaimed the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptised.


(They had only been baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus.  )


For those of you who were baptised into Christ have been clothed with Christ.
