Go, therefore, and make disciples   of   all nations,   baptising   them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,


Then he sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.


But he told him, ‘Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and spread the news of the kingdom of God.’


After he had suffered, he also presented himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.


But there were some of them, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks  also, proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus.


Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, along with his whole household.  Many of the Corinthians, when they heard, believed and were baptised.


When they heard this, they were baptised into the name of the Lord Jesus.


Peter replied, ‘Repent  and be baptised,  each of you, in the name  of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


So those who accepted his message were baptised, and that day about three thousand people were added to them.


I testified to both Jews and Greeks about repentance towards God  and faith in our Lord Jesus.


‘And now I know that none of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will ever see me again.


proclaiming the kingdom of God  and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness  and without hindrance.


Believers were added to the Lord in increasing numbers #– #multitudes of both men and women.


So those who were scattered went on their way preaching the word.


One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.


In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, and man is not independent of woman.


There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free,  male and female;  since you are all one  in Christ Jesus.


Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you (not as the removal of dirt from the body,  but the pledge  of a good conscience towards God) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
