For as the earth produces its growth, and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
When they heard this they became silent. And they glorified God, saying, ‘So then, God has given repentance resulting in life even to the Gentiles.’
After they arrived and gathered the church together, they reported everything God had done with them and that he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

Now a Jew named Apollos, a native Alexandrian, an eloquent man who was competent in the use of the Scriptures, arrived in Ephesus.

For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me by word and deed for the obedience of the Gentiles,
What I am saying is this: One of you says, ‘I belong to Paul,’ or ‘I belong to Apollos,’ or ‘I belong to Cephas,’ or ‘I belong to Christ.’
It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us #– #our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption #– #
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come #– #everything is yours,
So, then, neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?
and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love,
because our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit, and with full assurance. You know how we lived among you for your benefit,
