and cameto the fortressof Tyreand to allthe citiesof the Hivitesand of the Canaanites,and they wentout to the southof Judah,[to] Beersheba.
AllKingSolomon'sdrinkingvessels[were] of gold,and allthe vesselsof the houseof the forestof Lebanon[were] of puregold.Nonewas of silver;it was not consideredvaluablein the daysof Solomon.
The kingmadesilver[as common] as stonesin Jerusalem,and he madecedarsas plentifulas sycamoretreesthat are in the lowland.
And place[your] goldin the dust,And [the gold of] Ophiramong the stonesof the brooks,
"Thoughhe pilesup silverlike dustAnd preparesgarmentsas [plentiful as] the clay,
Orwith princeswho had gold,Who were fillingtheir houses[with] silver.
He has stretchedHis handout overthe sea,He has made the kingdomstremble;The LORDhas givena commandconcerningCanaanto demolishits strongholds.
Whohas plannedthisagainstTyre,the bestowerof crowns,Whosemerchantswere princes,whosetraderswere the honoredof the earth?
"Also they will makea spoilof your richesand a preyof your merchandise,breakdownyour wallsand destroyyour pleasanthouses,and throwyour stonesand your timbersand your debrisinto the water.
"Your wealth,your wares,your merchandise,Your sailorsand your pilots,Your repairersof seams,your dealersin merchandiseAnd allyour menof warwhoare in you, With allyour companythat is in your midst,Will fallinto the heartof the seasOn the dayof your overthrow.
When your wareswentout from the seas,You satisfiedmanypeoples;With the abundanceof your wealthand your merchandiseYou enrichedthe kingsof earth.
Nowthat you are brokenby the seasIn the depthsof the waters,Your merchandiseand allyour companyHave fallenin the midstof you.
The wordof the LORDcameagain to me, saying,
Thussaysthe LORD,"For threetransgressionsof Tyreand for fourI will not revokeits [punishment], Becausethey deliveredup an entirepopulationto EdomAnd did not remember[the] covenantof brotherhood.
The borderturnedto Ramahand to the fortifiedcityof Tyre;then the borderturnedto Hosah,and it endedat the seaby the regionof Achzib.
