And he saidto me, "Do not sealup the wordsof the prophecyof thisbook,for the timeis near.
Wail,for the dayof the LORDis near!It will comeas destructionfrom the Almighty.
Bindup the testimony,sealthe lawamong my disciples.
"Thereforesayto them, 'Thussaysthe LordGOD,"I will make thisproverbceaseso that they will nolongeruseit as a proverbin Israel."But tellthem, "The daysdrawnearas well as the fulfillmentof everyvision.
"But as for you, Daniel,concealthese wordsand sealup the bookuntilthe endof time;manywill gobackand forth,and knowledgewill increase."
He said,"Go[your way], Daniel,for [these] wordsare concealedand sealedup untilthe endtime.
"The visionof the eveningsand morningsWhichhas been toldis true;But keepthe visionsecret,For [it] pertains to manydays[in the future]."
"WhatI tellyou in the darkness,speakin the light;and whatyou hear[whispered] in [your] ear,proclaimupon the housetops.
[Do] this,knowingthe time,that it is alreadythe hourfor you to awakenfrom sleep;for nowsalvationis nearerto us thanwhenwe believed.
The nightis almost gone,and the dayis near.Thereforelet us lay asidethe deedsof darknessand puton the armorof light.
Let noonein anywaydeceiveyou, for [it will not come] unlessthe apostasycomesfirst,and the manof lawlessnessis revealed,the sonof destruction,
The endof all thingsis near;therefore,be of sound judgmentand sober[spirit] for the purpose of prayer.
saying,"Writein a bookwhatyou see,and send[it] to the sevenchurches:to Ephesusand to Smyrnaand to Pergamumand to Thyatiraand to Sardisand to Philadelphiaand to Laodicea."
Blessedis he who readsand thosewho hearthe wordsof the prophecy,and heedthe things which are writtenin it; for the timeis near.
Whenthe sevenpealsof thunderhad spoken,I was aboutto write;and I hearda voicefrom heavensaying,"Sealup the things whichthe sevenpeals of thunderhave spokenand do not writethem."
"I, Jesus,have sentMy angelto testifyto you these thingsfor the churches.I amthe rootand the descendantof David,the brightmorningstar."
I testifyto everyonewho hearsthe wordsof the prophecyof thisbook:ifanyoneaddsto them, Godwill addto him the plagueswhich are writtenin thisbook;
He who testifiesto these thingssays,"Yes,I am comingquickly."Amen.Come,LordJesus.
"And behold,I am comingquickly.Blessedis he who heedsthe wordsof the prophecyof thisbook."
But he saidto me, "Do not dothat. I ama fellow servantof yoursand of your brethrenthe prophetsand of thosewho heedthe wordsof thisbook.WorshipGod."
I sawin the right handof Him who saton the thronea bookwritteninsideand on the back,sealedup with sevenseals.
