For strangershave risenagainstme And violentmenhave soughtmy life;They have not setGodbeforethem. Selah.
Let deathcomedeceitfullyupon them; Let them godownaliveto Sheol,For evilis in their dwelling,in their midst.
Let the assemblyof the peoplesencompassYou, And overthem returnon high.
O LORDGod[of] hosts,Howlongwill You be angrywith the prayerof Your people?

The nationshave sunkdownin the pitwhich they have made;In the netwhichthey hid,their own foothas been caught.
"You shall not worshipthem or servethem; for I, the LORDyour God,am a jealousGod,visitingthe iniquityof the fatherson the children,on the thirdand the fourthgenerations of those who hateMe,
God,furthermore,saidto Moses,"Thusyou shall sayto the sonsof Israel,The LORD,the Godof your fathers,the Godof Abraham,the Godof Isaac,and the Godof Jacob,has sentme to you.' Thisis My nameforever,and thisis My memorial-nameto allgenerations.
Hearthe wordof the LORD,You rulersof Sodom;Giveearto the instructionof our God,You peopleof Gomorrah.
When its limbsare dry,they are brokenoff; Womencome[and] makea firewith them, For they are not a peopleof discernment,Thereforetheir Makerwill not havecompassionon them. And their Creatorwill not be graciousto them.
Yet You, O LORD,knowAlltheir deadlydesignsagainstme; Do not forgivetheir iniquityOr blotout their sinfrom Your sight.But may they be overthrownbeforeYou; Dealwith them in the timeof Your anger!
"Allthe commissionersof the kingdom,the prefectsand the satraps,the highofficialsand the governorshave consultedtogetherthat the kingshould establisha statuteand enforcean injunctionthat anyonewhomakesa petitionto anygodor manbesidesyou, O king,for thirtydays,shall be castinto the lions'den.
"Are you not as the sonsof Ethiopiato Me, O sonsof Israel?"declaresthe LORD."Have I not broughtup Israelfrom the landof Egypt,And the Philistinesfrom Caphtorand the Arameansfrom Kir?
But [it is] not as thoughthe wordof Godhas failed.For they are not allIsraelwhoare [descended] from Israel;
For judgment[will be] mercilessto one who has shownnomercy;mercytriumphs overjudgment.
