Offerthe sacrificesof righteousness,And trustin the LORD.
And Absalomsentfor Ahithophelthe Gilonite,David'scounselor,from his cityGiloh,while he was offeringthe sacrifices.And the conspiracywas strong,for the peopleincreasedcontinuallywith Absalom.
Dohomageto the Son,that He not becomeangry,and you perish[in] the way,For His wrathmay soonbe kindled.How blessedare allwho takerefugein Him!
Vindicateme, O LORD,for I have walkedin my integrity,And I have trustedin the LORDwithoutwavering.
Trustin the LORDand dogood;Dwellin the landand cultivatefaithfulness.
"Offerto Goda sacrificeof thanksgivingAnd payyour vowsto the MostHigh;
ThenYou will delightin righteoussacrifices,In burntofferingand wholeburntoffering;Thenyoungbullswill be offeredon Your altar.
Trustin Him at alltimes,O people;Pourout your heartbeforeHim; Godis a refugefor us. Selah.
Will the Lordrejectforever?And will He neverbe favorableagain?
Whois among you that fearsthe LORD,That obeysthe voiceof His servant,That walksin darknessand hasnolight?Let him trustin the nameof the LORDand relyon his God.
For I, the LORD,lovejustice,I haterobberyin the burntoffering;And I will faithfullygivethem their recompenseAnd makean everlastingcovenantwith them.
"But whenyou presentthe blindfor sacrifice,is it not evil?And whenyou presentthe lameand sick,is it not evil?Why not offerit to your governor?Would he be pleasedwith you? Orwould he receiveyou kindly?"saysthe LORDof hosts.
"Thereforeifyou are presentingyour offeringat the altar,and thererememberthat your brotherhassomethingagainstyou,
"They will callpeoples[to] the mountain;Therethey will offerrighteoussacrifices;For they will drawout the abundanceof the seas,And the hiddentreasuresof the sand."
Therefore,thosealsowho sufferaccordingto the willof Godshall entrusttheir soulsto a faithfulCreatorin doing what is right.
