Now MountSinai[was] allin smokebecausethe LORDdescendedupon it in fire;and its smokeascendedlike the smokeof a furnace,and the wholemountainquakedviolently.
Do you not fearMe?' declaresthe LORD.'Do you not tremblein My presence?For I have placedthe sandas a boundaryfor the sea,An eternaldecree,so it cannotcrossoverit. Though the wavestoss,yet they cannotprevail;Though they roar,yet they cannotcrossoverit.
"Becauseof thiswill not the landquakeAnd everyonewho dwellsin it mourn?Indeed, allof it will riseup like the Nile,And it will be tossedaboutAnd subsidelike the Nileof Egypt.
The mountainssawYou [and] quaked;The downpourof waterssweptby. The deeputteredforthits voice,It liftedhighits hands.
And a second timethey said,"Hallelujah!HER SMOKERISESUP FOREVERAND EVER."
ThenI sawa greatwhitethroneand Him who satupon it, from whosepresenceearthand heavenfled away,and noplacewas foundfor them.
