My soulis amonglions;I must lieamong those who breatheforthfire,[Even] the sonsof men,whose teethare spearsand arrowsAnd their tonguea sharpsword.
The wordsof the wickedliein waitfor blood,But the mouthof the uprightwill deliverthem.
The one who guardshis mouthpreserveshis life;The one who openswidehis lipscomes to ruin.
Where nooxenare, the mangeris clean,But muchrevenue[comes] by the strengthof the ox.
A fool'slipsbringstrife,And his mouthcallsfor blows.
A fool'smouthis his ruin,And his lipsare the snareof his soul.
"Proud,""Haughty,""Scoffer,"are his names,Who actswith insolentpride.
He who sowsiniquitywill reapvanity,And the rodof his furywill perish.
An arrogantman stirsup strife,But he who trustsin the LORDwill prosper.
and [the meaning] of the tenhornsthat [were] on its headand the other[horn] whichcameup, and beforewhich three[of them] fell,namely, that hornwhich had eyesand a mouthutteringgreat[boasts] and which was largerin appearancethanits associates.
For speakingout arrogant[words] of vanitythey enticeby fleshlydesires,by sensuality,thosewho barelyescapefrom the ones who livein error,
"And they overcamehim becauseof the bloodof the Lamband becauseof the wordof their testimony,and they did not lovetheir lifeeven whenfaced with death.
Becauseyou have keptthe wordof My perseverance,I alsowill keepyou from the hourof testing,that [hour] which is aboutto comeupon the wholeworld,to testthosewho dwellon the earth.
