Then the kingsaidto me, "Whatwould you request?"So I prayedto the Godof heaven.
In allyour waysacknowledgeHim, And He will makeyour pathsstraight.
When I heardthesewords,I satdownand weptand mournedfor days;and I was fastingand prayingbeforethe Godof heaven.
Be anxiousfor nothing,but in everythingby prayerand supplicationwith thanksgivinglet your requestsbe made knownto God.
"OLord,I beseechYou, may Your earbe attentiveto the prayerof Your servantand the prayerof Your servantswho delightto revereYour name,and makeYour servantsuccessfultodayand granthim compassionbeforethisman."Now I was the cupbearerto the king.
And answeringhim, Jesussaid,"Whatdo you wantMe to dofor you?" And the blind mansaidto Him, "Rabboni,[I want] to regain my sight!"
In Gibeonthe LORDappearedto Solomonin a dreamat night;and Godsaid,"Askwhat[you wish] me to giveyou."
And the kingsaidto Estheron the seconddayalsoas they dranktheir wineat the banquet,"Whatis your petition,QueenEsther?It shall be grantedyou. And whatis your request?Evento halfof the kingdomit shall be done."

Then the kingsaidto her, "Whatis [troubling] you, QueenEsther?And whatis your request?Evento halfof the kingdomit shall be givento you."
Now someone toldDavid,saying,"Ahithophelis among the conspiratorswith Absalom."And Davidsaid,"O LORD,I pray,makethe counselof Ahithophelfoolishness."
I saidto the king,"Ifit pleasethe king,and ifyour servanthas foundfavorbeforeyou, sendme to Judah,to the cityof my fathers'tombs,that I may rebuildit."
So I answeredthem and saidto them, "The Godof heavenwill giveus success;therefore we His servantswill ariseand build,but you havenoportion,rightor memorialin Jerusalem."
I said,"I beseechYou, O LORDGodof heaven,the greatand awesomeGod,who preservesthe covenantand lovingkindnessfor those who loveHim and keepHis commandments,
Givethanksto the Godof heaven,For His lovingkindnessis everlasting.
The commandertookhim by the handand stepping aside,[began] to inquireof him privately,"Whatis it that you haveto reportto me?"
