Seeingthe people,He felt compassionfor them, becausethey were distressedand dispiritedlikesheepwithouta shepherd.
So he said,"I sawallIsraelScatteredon the mountains,Like sheepwhichhavenoshepherd.And the LORDsaid,'Thesehave nomaster.Let eachof them returnto his housein peace.'"

And it will be that like a huntedgazelle,Or like sheepwith noneto gather[them], They will eachturnto his own people,And eachonefleeto his own land.
"My peoplehave becomelostsheep;Their shepherdshave ledthem astray.They have made them turnaside[on] the mountains;They have gonealong from mountainto hillAnd have forgottentheir restingplace.
For the teraphimspeakiniquity,And the divinersseelyingvisionsAnd tellfalse~dreams;They comfortin vain.Therefore[the people] wanderlikesheep,They are afflicted,becausethereis noshepherd.
"For behold,I am going to raiseup a shepherdin the landwho will not carefor the perishing,seekthe scattered,healthe broken,or sustainthe one standing,but will devourthe fleshof the fat[sheep] and tearofftheir hoofs.
whowill goout and comein beforethem, and whowill leadthem out and bringthem in, so that the congregationof the LORDwill not be like sheepwhichhavenoshepherd."

When He went ashore,He sawa largecrowd,and felt compassionfor them and healedtheir sick.
But He answeredand said,"I was sentonlyto the lostsheepof the houseof Israel."
And JesuscalledHis disciplesto Him, and said,"I feel compassionfor the people,becausethey have remainedwith Me nowthreedaysand havenothingto eat;and I do not wantto send them awayhungry,for they might fainton the way."
