"His winnowing forkis in His hand,and He will thoroughly clearHis threshing floor;and He will gatherHis wheatinto the barn,but He will burnup the chaffwith unquenchablefire."
"Are they as strawbeforethe wind,And like chaffwhich the stormcarriesaway?
The wickedare not so,But they are like chaffwhichthe winddrivesaway.
Let them be like chaffbeforethe wind,With the angelof the LORDdriving[them] on.
The strongmanwill becometinder,His workalso a spark.Thus they shall bothburntogetherAnd therewill be noneto quench[them].
The nationsrumbleon like the rumblingof manywaters,But He will rebukethem and they will fleefaraway,And be chasedlike chaffin the mountainsbeforethe wind,Or like whirlingdustbeforea gale.
"I havenowrath.Should someonegiveMe briars[and] thornsin battle,[Then] I would stepon them, I would burnthem completely.
[Grain for] breadis crushed,Indeed,he does not continueto threshit forever.Because the wheelof [his] cartand his horses[eventually] damage[it], He does not threshit longer.
Also the oxenand the donkeyswhich workthe groundwill eatsaltedfodder,whichhas been winnowedwith shoveland fork.
"You will winnowthem, and the windwill carrythem away, And the stormwill scatterthem; But you will rejoicein the LORD,You will gloryin the HolyOneof Israel.
Therefore,as a tongueof fireconsumesstubbleAnd drygrasscollapsesinto the flame,So their rootwill becomelike rotand their blossomblowawayas dust;For they have rejectedthe lawof the LORDof hostsAnd despisedthe wordof the HolyOneof Israel.
"Then they will goforthand lookOn the corpsesof the menWho have transgressedagainst Me. For their wormwill not dieAnd their firewill not be quenched;And they will be an abhorrenceto allmankind."

"But ifyou do not listento Me to keepthe sabbathdayholyby not carryinga loadand comingin through the gatesof Jerusalemon the sabbathday,then I will kindlea firein its gatesand it will devourthe palacesof Jerusalemand not be quenched."'"
In that timeit will be saidto thispeopleand to Jerusalem,"A scorchingwindfrom the bareheightsin the wildernessin the directionof the daughterof My people--not to winnowand not to cleanse,
"I will dispatchforeignersto Babylonthat they may winnowher And may devastateher land;For on everysidethey will be opposedto her In the dayof [her] calamity.
Thereforethussaysthe LordGOD,"Behold,My angerand My wrathwill be pouredout on thisplace,on manand on beastand on the treesof the fieldand on the fruitof the ground;and it will burnand not be quenched."
Thereforethey will be like the morningcloudAnd like dewwhich soondisappears,Like chaffwhich is blownawayfrom the threshingfloorAnd like smokefrom a chimney.
"For behold,I am commanding,And I will shakethe houseof Israelamong allnationsAs [grain] is shakenin a sieve,But not a kernelwill fallto the ground.
"For behold,the dayis coming,burninglike a furnace;and allthe arrogantand everyevildoerwill be chaff;and the daythat is comingwill setthem ablaze,"saysthe LORDof hosts,"sothat it will leavethem neitherrootnorbranch."
Allowbothto grow togetheruntilthe harvest;and in the timeof the harvestI will sayto the reapers,"Firstgatherup the taresand bindthem in bundlesto burnthem up; but gatherthe wheatinto my barn."'"
