"Woeto you, Chorazin!Woeto you, Bethsaida!For ifthe miracleshad occurredin Tyreand Sidonwhich occurredin you, they would have repentedlong agoin sackclothand ashes.
ThereforeI retract,And I repentin dustand ashes."
"As for your adulteriesand your [lustful] neighings,The lewdnessof your prostitutionOn the hillsin the field,I have seenyour abominations.Woeto you, O Jerusalem!Howlongwill you remainunclean?"
"Moreover,whatare you to Me, O Tyre,Sidonand allthe regionsof Philistia?Are you renderingMe a recompense?But ifyou do recompenseMe, swiftlyand speedilyI will returnyour recompenseon your head.
Thussaysthe LORD,"For threetransgressionsof Tyreand for fourI will not revokeits [punishment], Becausethey deliveredup an entirepopulationto EdomAnd did not remember[the] covenantof brotherhood.
"NeverthelessI sayto you, it will be more tolerablefor Tyreand Sidonin [the] dayof judgmentthanfor you.
Jesuswent awayfrom there,and withdrewinto the districtof Tyreand Sidon.
"Woeto the worldbecauseof [its] stumblingblocks!For it is inevitablethat stumbling blockscome;but woeto that manthroughwhomthe stumbling blockcomes!
"The Sonof Man[is to] go,justas it is writtenof Him; but woeto that manby whomthe Sonof Manis betrayed!It would have beengoodfor that manifhe had not been born."
and from Jerusalem,and from Idumea,and beyondthe Jordan,and the vicinityof Tyreand Sidon,a greatnumber of peopleheardof allthat He was doingand cameto Him.
ImmediatelyJesus madeHis disciplesgetinto the boatand go aheadof [Him] to the other sideto Bethsaida,whileHe Himselfwas sendingthe crowdaway.
Jesus gotup and went awayfrom thereto the regionof Tyre. And when He had entereda house,He wantedno oneto know[of it]; yetHe couldnot escape notice.
AgainHe wentout from the regionof Tyre,and camethroughSidonto the Seaof Galilee,withinthe regionof Decapolis.
And they cameto Bethsaida.And they broughta blind manto Jesus and imploredHim to touchhim.
and yet Elijahwas sentto noneof them, but onlyto Zarephath,[in the land] of Sidon,to a womanwho was a widow.
Jesus came downwith them and stoodon a levelplace;and [there was] a largecrowdof His disciples,and a greatthrongof peoplefrom allJudeaand Jerusalemand the coastal regionof Tyreand Sidon,
When the apostlesreturned,they gave an accountto Him of allthat they had done.Takingthem with Him, He withdrewby Himselfto a citycalledBethsaida.
NowPhilipwas from Bethsaida,of the cityof Andrewand Peter.
thesethencameto Philip,whowas from Bethsaidaof Galilee,and [began to] askhim, saying,"Sir,we wishto seeJesus."
Nowhe was very angrywith the people of Tyreand Sidon;and with one accordthey cameto him, and having won overBlastusthe king'schamberlain,they were askingfor peace,becausetheir countrywas fedby the king'scountry.
The nextday we putin at Sidon;and JuliustreatedPaulwith considerationand allowedhim to goto his friendsand receivecare.
Woeto them! For they have gonethe wayof Cain,and for paythey have rushed headlonginto the errorof Balaam,and perishedin the rebellionof Korah.
"And I will grant[authority] to my twowitnesses,and they will prophesyfor twelvehundredand sixtydays,clothedin sackcloth."
I lookedwhenHe brokethe sixthseal,and there was a greatearthquake;and the sunbecameblackas sackcloth[made] of hair,and the wholemoonbecamelikeblood;
