"Is thisnot the wordthat we spoketo you in Egypt,saying,Leaveus alonethat we may servethe Egyptians?For it would have been betterfor us to servethe Egyptiansthanto diein the wilderness."
"Seventyweekshave been decreedfor your peopleand your holycity,to finishthe transgression,to makean endof sin,to makeatonementfor iniquity,to bringin everlastingrighteousness,to sealup visionand prophecyand to anointthe mostholy[place].
and cameand livedin a citycalledNazareth.[This was] to fulfillwhatwas spokenthroughthe prophets:"He shall be calleda Nazarene."
And they criedout, saying,"Whatbusiness do we have with each other, Sonof God?Have You comehereto tormentus beforethe time?"
Just thenthere was a manin their synagoguewith an uncleanspirit;and he criedout,
And Jesusrebukedhim, saying,"Be quiet,and comeout of him!"
When he heardthat it was Jesusthe Nazarene,he beganto cryout and say,"Jesus,Sonof David,have mercyon me!"
and seeingPeterwarminghimself, she lookedat him and said,"You alsowere with Jesusthe Nazarene."
And he saidto them, "Do not be amazed;you are lookingfor Jesusthe Nazarene,who has been crucified.He has risen;He is not here;behold,[here is] the placewherethey laidHim.
and shoutingwith a loudvoice,he said,"Whatbusiness do we have with each other, Jesus,Sonof the Most HighGod?I imploreYou by God,do not tormentme!"
The angelansweredand saidto her, "The HolySpiritwill comeupon you, and the powerof the Most Highwill overshadowyou; and for that reasonthe holyChildshall be calledthe Sonof God.
And He saidto them, "What things?"And they saidto Him, "The things aboutJesusthe Nazarene,whowas a prophetmightyin deedand wordin the sightof Godand allthe people,
"Let us alone!Whatbusiness do we have with each other, Jesusof Nazareth?Have You cometo destroyus? I knowwhoYou are-- the Holy Oneof God!"
SeeingJesus,he criedout and fell beforeHim, and saidin a loudvoice,"Whatbusiness do we have with each other, Jesus,Sonof the Most HighGod?I begYou, do not tormentme."
And allthe peopleof the countryof the Gerasenesand the surrounding districtaskedHim to leavethem, for they were grippedwith greatfear;and He gotinto a boatand returned.
"We have believedand have come to knowthat You are the Holy Oneof God."
BECAUSEYOU WILL NOT ABANDONMY SOULTO HADES,NORALLOWYOUR HOLY ONETO UNDERGODECAY.
"For we have foundthismana real pestand a fellow who stirsup dissensionamong allthe Jewsthroughoutthe world,and a ringleaderof the sectof the Nazarenes.
"But you disownedthe Holyand Righteous Oneand askedfor a murdererto be grantedto you,
"For trulyin thiscitythere were gathered togetheragainstYour holyservantJesus,whomYou anointed,bothHerodand PontiusPilate,alongwith the Gentilesand the peoplesof Israel,
You believethat Godis one.You dowell;the demonsalsobelieve,and shudder.
But you havean anointingfrom the Holy One,and you allknow.
