"The one who releasedthe goatas the scapegoatshall washhis clothesand bathehis bodywith water;then afterwardhe shall comeinto the camp.
By these,moreover, you will be madeunclean:whoevertouchestheir carcassesbecomesuncleanuntilevening,
and whoeverpicksup anyof their carcassesshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening.
Also whateverwalkson its paws,among allthe creaturesthat walkon [all] fours,are uncleanto you; whoevertouchestheir carcassesbecomesuncleanuntilevening,
and the one who picksup their carcassesshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening;they are uncleanto you.
Theseare to you the uncleanamong allthe swarmingthings;whoevertouchesthem when they are deadbecomesuncleanuntilevening.
Also anythingon whichone of them may fallwhen they are deadbecomesunclean,includinganywoodenarticle,orclothing,ora skin,ora sack--anyarticleof whichuseis made--it shall be putin the waterand be uncleanuntilevening,then it becomesclean.
Also ifone of the animalsdieswhichyou have for food,the one who touchesits carcassbecomesuncleanuntilevening.
He too, who eatssomeof its carcassshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening,and the one who picksup its carcassshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening.
"The one to be cleansedshall then washhis clothesand shaveoffallhis hairand bathein waterand be clean.Now afterward,he may enterthe camp,but he shall stayoutsidehis tentfor sevendays.
Likewise, whoevertouchesthem shall be uncleanand shall washhis clothesand bathein waterand be uncleanuntilevening.
"But the goaton whichthe lotfor the scapegoatfellshall be presentedalivebeforethe LORD,to makeatonementupon it, to sendit into the wildernessas the scapegoat.
"Then he shall offerup in smokethe fatof the sinofferingon the altar.
"Then the one who burnsthem shall washhis clothesand bathehis bodywith water,then afterwardhe shall comeinto the camp.
"Aaronshall castlotsfor the twogoats,onelotfor the LORDand the otherlotfor the scapegoat.
So it shall be a perpetualstatutefor them. And he who sprinklesthe waterfor impurityshall washhis clothes,and he who touchesthe waterfor impurityshall be uncleanuntilevening.
