"The priestshall lookat him againon the seventhday,and ifthe infectionhas fadedand the markhas not spreadon the skin,then the priestshall pronouncehim clean;it is [only] a scab.And he shall washhis clothesand be clean.
whateverprayeror supplicationis madeby anyman[or] by allYour peopleIsrael,eachknowingthe afflictionof his own heart,and spreadinghis handstowardthishouse;
then hearin heaventheir prayerand their supplication,and maintaintheir cause.
Whocan discern[his] errors?Acquitme of hidden[faults].
Whocan say,"I have cleansedmy heart,I am purefrom my sin"?
Indeed,thereis not a righteousmanon earthwho[continually] doesgoodand who neversins.
"A bruisedreedHe will not breakAnd a dimlyburning wickHe will not extinguish;He will faithfullybringforthjustice.
and whoeverpicksup anyof their carcassesshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening.
and the one who picksup their carcassesshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening;they are uncleanto you.
He too, who eatssomeof its carcassshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening,and the one who picksup its carcassshall washhis clothesand be uncleanuntilevening.
"Whena manhason the skinof his bodya swellingora scabora brightspot,and it becomesan infectionof leprosyon the skinof his body,then he shall be broughtto Aaronthe priestorto oneof his sonsthe priests.
"The priestshall lookat him on the seventhday,and ifin his eyesthe infectionhas not changed[and] the infectionhas not spreadon the skin,then the priestshall isolatehim for sevenmoredays.
"But ifthe scabspreadsfartheron the skinafterhe has shownhimself to the priestfor his cleansing,he shall appearagainto the priest.
"The one to be cleansedshall then washhis clothesand shaveoffallhis hairand bathein waterand be clean.Now afterward,he may enterthe camp,but he shall stayoutsidehis tentfor sevendays.
Nowacceptthe one who is weakin faith,[but] not for [the purpose of] passing judgmenton his opinions.
Therefore,havingthesepromises,beloved,let us cleanseourselvesfrom alldefilementof fleshand spirit,perfectingholinessin the fearof God.
"They have actedcorruptlytoward Him, [They are] not His children,because of their defect;[But are] a perverseand crookedgeneration.
let us draw nearwith a sincereheartin full assuranceof faith,having our heartssprinkled[clean] from an evilconscienceand our bodieswashedwith purewater.
since they [relate] onlyto foodand drinkand variouswashings,regulationsfor the bodyimposeduntila timeof reformation.
For we allstumblein many[ways]. Ifanyonedoes not stumblein what he says,he is a perfectman,ableto bridlethe wholebodyas well.
