"But allthe silverand goldand articlesof bronzeand ironare holyto the LORD;they shall gointo the treasuryof the LORD."
KingDavidalsodedicatedthese to the LORD,with the silverand goldthat he had dedicatedfrom allthe nationswhichhe had subdued:
He tookaway the treasuresof the houseof the LORDand the treasuresof the king'shouse,and he tookeverything,even takingallthe shieldsof goldwhichSolomonhad made.
Thus allthe workthat KingSolomonperformed[in] the houseof the LORDwas finished.And Solomonbroughtin the thingsdedicatedby his fatherDavid,the silverand the goldand the utensils,[and] he putthem in the treasuriesof the houseof the LORD.
He carriedout from thereallthe treasuresof the houseof the LORD,and the treasuresof the king'shouse,and cutin piecesallthe vesselsof goldwhichSolomonkingof Israelhad madein the templeof the LORD,justas the LORDhad said.
KingDavidalsodedicatedthese to the LORDwith the silverand the goldwhichhe had carriedaway from allthe nations:from Edom,Moab,the sonsof Ammon,the Philistines,and from Amalek.
The Levites,their relatives,had chargeof the treasuresof the houseof Godand of the treasuresof the dedicatedgifts.
ThisShelomothand his relativeshad chargeof allthe treasuresof the dedicatedgiftswhichKingDavidand the headsof the fathers'[households], the commandersof thousandsand hundreds,and the commandersof the army,had dedicated.
They dedicatedpart of the spoilwon in battlesto repairthe houseof the LORD.
And allthat Samuelthe seerhad dedicatedand Saulthe sonof Kish,Abnerthe sonof Nerand Joabthe sonof Zeruiah,everyonewho had dedicated[anything, all of this] was in the careof Shelomothand his relatives.
and the planof allthat he hadin mind,for the courtsof the houseof the LORD,and for allthe surroundingrooms,for the storehousesof the houseof Godand for the storehousesof the dedicatedthings;
He broughtinto the houseof Godthe dedicatedthingsof his fatherand his own dedicatedthings:silverand goldand utensils.
They faithfullybroughtin the contributionsand the tithesand the consecratedthings;and Conaniahthe Levite[was] the officerin chargeof them and his brotherShimei[was] second.
The priest,the sonof Aaron,shall be with the Leviteswhen the Levitesreceivetithes,and the Levitesshall bringup the tenthof the tithesto the houseof our God,to the chambersof the storehouse.
So Ebed-melechtookthe menunder his authorityand wentinto the king'spalaceto [a place] beneaththe storeroomand tookfrom thereworn-outclothesand worn-outragsand letthem downby ropesinto the cisternto Jeremiah.
But in the fourthyearallits fruitshall be holy,an offering of praiseto the LORD.
"Ariseand thresh,daughterof Zion,For your hornI will makeironAnd your hoofsI will makebronze,That you may pulverizemanypeoples,That you may devoteto the LORDtheir unjustgainAnd their wealthto the Lordof allthe earth.
They tookallthe spoiland allthe prey,both of manand of beast.
They broughtthe captivesand the preyand the spoilto Moses,and to Eleazarthe priestand to the congregationof the sonsof Israel,to the campat the plainsof Moab,whichare by the Jordan[opposite] Jericho.
onlythe goldand the silver,the bronze,the iron,the tinand the lead,
The chief prieststookthe pieces of silverand said,"It is not lawfulto putthem into the temple treasury,sinceit is the priceof blood."
And He sat downoppositethe treasury,and [began] observinghowthe peoplewere puttingmoneyinto the treasury;and manyrich peoplewere puttingin large sums.
"Israelhas sinned,and they have alsotransgressedMy covenantwhichI commandedthem. And they have eventakensomeof the thingsunderthe banand have bothstolenand deceived.Moreover, they have alsoput[them] among their own things.
