So they setapartKedeshin Galileein the hillcountryof Naphtaliand Shechemin the hillcountryof Ephraim,and Kiriath-arba(that is, Hebron)in the hillcountryof Judah.
From the tribeof Naphtali,[they gave] Kedeshin Galilee,the cityof refugefor the manslayer,with its pasturelandsand Hammoth-dorwith its pasturelandsand Kartanwith its pasturelands;threecities.
To the familiesof the sonsof Merari,the restof the Levites,[they gave] from the tribeof Zebulun,Jokneamwith its pasturelandsand Kartahwith its pasturelands.
