"Everybranchin Me that does not bearfruit,He takes away;and every[branch] that bearsfruit,He prunesit sothat it may bearmorefruit.
"Nevertheless the righteouswill holdto his way,And he who has cleanhandswill growstrongerand stronger.
They will stillyieldfruitin oldage;They shall be fullof sapand verygreen,
But the pathof the righteousis like the lightof dawn,That shinesbrighterand brighteruntilthe fullday.
Thereforethrough thisJacob'siniquitywill be forgiven;And thiswill be the fullpriceof the pardoningof his sin:When he makesallthe altarstoneslike pulverizedchalkstones;[When] Asherimand incensealtarswill not stand.
The afflictedalso will increasetheir gladnessin the LORD,And the needyof mankindwill rejoicein the HolyOneof Israel.
"Someof those who haveinsightwill fall,in order to refine,purgeand makethem pureuntilthe endtime;because[it is] still[to come] at the appointedtime.
"So let us know,let us presson to knowthe LORD.His goingforthis as certainas the dawn;And He will cometo us like the rain,Like the springrainwateringthe earth."
"He will sitas a smelterand purifierof silver,and He will purifythe sonsof Leviand refinethem like goldand silver,so that they may presentto the LORDofferingsin righteousness.
"For whoeverhas,to him [more] shall be given,and he will have an abundance;but whoeverdoes not have,evenwhathe hasshall be taken awayfrom him.
He spokeanotherparableto them, "The kingdomof heavenis likeleaven,whicha womantookand hidin threepecksof flouruntilit was allleavened."
But He answeredand said,"EveryplantwhichMy heavenlyFatherdid not plantshall be uprooted.
Seeinga lonefigtreeby the road,He cameto it and foundnothingon it exceptleavesonly;and He saidto it, "Nolongershall there everbe [any] fruitfrom you." And at oncethe fig treewithered.
"For to everyonewho has,[more] shall be given,and he will have an abundance;but from the one who does not have,evenwhathe does haveshall be taken away.
"The axeis alreadylaidat the rootof the trees;thereforeeverytreethat does not beargoodfruitis cut downand throwninto the fire.
"His winnowing forkis in His hand,and He will thoroughly clearHis threshing floor;and He will gatherHis wheatinto the barn,but He will burnup the chaffwith unquenchablefire."

"And thoseare the ones on whom seed was sownon the goodsoil;and they hearthe wordand acceptit and bear fruit,thirty,sixty,and a hundredfold."
"Those on the rocky[soil are] those who,whenthey hear,receivethe wordwith joy;and thesehaveno[firm] root;they believefor a while,and in timeof temptationfall away.
"I amthe true vine,and My Fatheris the vinedresser.
"You did not chooseMe but I choseyou, and appointedyou that you would goand bearfruit,and [that] your fruitwould remain,sothat whateveryou askof the Fatherin My nameHe may giveto you.
"You are alreadycleanbecauseof the wordwhichI have spokento you.
"Ifanyonedoes not abidein Me, he is thrownawayas a branchand driesup; and they gatherthem, and castthem into the fireand they are burned.
"My Fatheris glorifiedby this,that you bearmuchfruit,and [so] proveto be My disciples.
"WhileI was with them, I was keepingthem in Your namewhichYou have givenMe; and I guardedthem and not oneof them perishedbut the sonof perdition,sothat the Scripturewould be fulfilled.
But ifsomeof the brancheswere broken off,and you, beinga wild olive,were graftedin amongthem and becamepartakerwith them of the richrootof the olive tree,
Beholdthenthe kindnessand severityof God;to thosewho fell,severity,but to you, God'skindness,ifyou continuein His kindness;otherwiseyou alsowill be cut off.
And we knowthat Godcausesall thingsto work togetherfor goodto thosewho loveGod,to thosewho are calledaccordingto [His] purpose.
IfI speakwith the tonguesof menand of angels,but do not havelove,I have becomea noisygongora clangingcymbal.
whogaveHimselffor us to redeemus from everylawless deed,and to purifyfor Himselfa peoplefor His ownpossession,zealousfor gooddeeds.
Seeto it that noonecomes shortof the graceof God;that norootof bitternessspringingup causes trouble,and by it manybe defiled;
They wentout from us, but they were not [really] of us; for ifthey had beenof us, they would have remainedwith us; but [they went out], sothat it would be shownthat they allare not of us.
Those whomI love,I reproveand discipline;thereforebe zealousand repent.
