"The Almighty--we cannotfindHim; He is exaltedin powerAnd He will not doviolenceto justiceand abundantrighteousness.

"Dominionand awebelong to Him Who establishespeacein His heights.
"Behold,theseare the fringesof His ways;And howfainta wordwe hearof Him! But His mightythunder,whocan understand?"
"Behold,Godis exalted,and we do not know[Him]; The numberof His yearsis unsearchable.
"I will fetchmy knowledgefrom afar,And I will ascriberighteousnessto my Maker.
"Behold,Godis mightybut does not despise[any]; [He is] mightyin strengthof understanding.
"Teachus whatwe shall sayto Him; We cannotarrange[our case] becauseof darkness.
"Out of the northcomesgolden[splendor]; AroundGodis awesomemajesty.
"Does Godpervertjustice?Ordoes the Almightypervertwhatis right?
"If[it is a matter] of power,behold,[He is] the strongone!And if[it is a matter] of justice,whocan summonHim?
"Wisein heartand mightyin strength,Whohas defiedHim withoutharm?
Greatis the LORD,and highlyto be praised,And His greatnessis unsearchable.
For His angeris but for a moment,His favoris for a lifetime;Weepingmay lastfor the night,But a shoutof joy[comes] in the morning.
OnceGodhas spoken;TwiceI have heardthis:That powerbelongs to God;
And lovingkindnessis Yours, O Lord,For You recompensea manaccording to his work.
Who establishesthe mountainsby His strength,Being girdedwith might;
Sayto God,"Howawesomeare Your works!Because of the greatnessof Your powerYour enemieswill givefeignedobedienceto You.
The LORDreigns,He is clothedwith majesty;The LORDhas clothedand girdedHimself with strength;Indeed,the worldis firmlyestablished,it will not be moved.
The strengthof the Kinglovesjustice;You have establishedequity;You have executedjusticeand righteousnessin Jacob.
He has madeeverythingappropriatein its time.He has alsoseteternityin their heart,yetsothat manwill not findout the workwhichGodhas donefrom the beginningeven to the end.
Whathas beenis remoteand exceedinglymysterious.Whocan discoverit?
"Declareand setforth[your case]; Indeed,let them consulttogether.Whohas announcedthisfrom of old?Who has longsincedeclaredit? Is it not I, the LORD?And thereis nootherGodbesidesMe, A righteousGodand a Savior;Thereis noneexceptMe.
In alltheir afflictionHe was afflicted,And the angelof His presencesavedthem; In His loveand in His mercyHe redeemedthem, And He liftedthem and carriedthem allthe daysof old.
"Do I haveanypleasurein the deathof the wicked,"declaresthe LordGOD,"ratherthanthat he should turnfrom his waysand live?
"For I havenopleasurein the deathof anyone who dies,"declaresthe LordGOD."Therefore, repentand live."
"Sayto them, 'As I live!'declaresthe LordGOD,'I takenopleasurein the deathof the wicked,but ratherthat the wickedturnfrom his wayand live.Turnback,turnbackfrom your evilways!Whythen will you die,O houseof Israel?'
And do not leadus into temptation,but deliverus from evil.[For Yoursis the kingdomand the powerand the gloryforever.Amen].'

Oh,the depthof the richesbothof the wisdomand knowledgeof God!Howunsearchableare His judgmentsand unfathomableHis ways!
who alonepossessesimmortalityand dwellsin unapproachablelight,whomnomanhas seenorcansee.To Him [be] honorand eternaldominion!Amen.
For they disciplinedus for a shorttimeas seemed bestto them, but He [disciplines us] for [our] good,sothat we may shareHis holiness.
