"Has thishouse,whichis calledby My name,becomea denof robbersin your sight?Behold,I, evenI, have seen[it]," declaresthe LORD.
Even those I will bringto My holymountainAnd makethem joyfulin My houseof prayer.Their burntofferingsand their sacrificeswill be acceptableon My altar;For My housewill be calleda houseof prayerfor allthe peoples."
And He saidto them, "It is written,MY HOUSESHALL BE CALLEDA HOUSEOF PRAYER;but you are makingit a ROBBERS'DEN."
And He [began] to teachand sayto them, "Is it not written,MY HOUSESHALL BE CALLEDA HOUSEOF PRAYERFOR ALLTHE NATIONS?But you have madeit a ROBBERS'DEN."
then hearfrom heaven,from Your dwellingplace,and doaccording to allfor whichthe foreignercallsto You, in orderthat allthe peoplesof the earthmay knowYour name,and fearYou as [do] Your peopleIsrael,and that they may knowthat thishousewhichI have builtis calledby Your name.
and to thosewho were sellingthe dovesHe said,"Takethese thingsaway;stopmakingMy Father'shousea placeof business."
"Can a manhidehimself in hidingplacesSo I do not seehim?" declaresthe LORD."Do I not fillthe heavensand the earth?"declaresthe LORD.
And there is nocreaturehiddenfrom His sight,but all thingsare openand laid bareto the eyesof Him with whomwe have to do.
becausethey have actedfoolishlyin Israel,and have committedadulterywith their neighbors'wivesand have spokenwordsin My namefalsely,whichI did not commandthem; and I am He who knowsand am a witness,"declaresthe LORD.'"
"Alsoon your skirtsis foundThe lifebloodof the innocentpoor;You did not findthem breakingin. But in spiteof allthesethings,
then comeand standbeforeMe in thishouse,whichis calledby My name,and say,'We are delivered!'--that you may doalltheseabominations?
"And you have spokenarrogantlyagainstMe and have multipliedyour wordsagainstMe; I have heard[it]."
"Whenyou cometo appearbeforeMe, Whorequiresof you thistramplingof My courts?
"O my God,inclineYour earand hear!OpenYour eyesand seeour desolationsand the citywhichis calledby Your name;for we are not presentingour supplicationsbeforeYou on accountof any meritsof our own, but on accountof Your greatcompassion.
