But his delightis in the lawof the LORD,And in His lawhe meditatesdayand night.
I shall delightin Your statutes;I shall not forgetYour word.Gimel.
I longfor Your salvation,O LORD,And Your lawis my delight.
Your testimoniesalsoare my delight;[They are] my counselors.Daleth.
Make me walkin the pathof Your commandments,For I delightin it.
Their heartis coveredwith fat,[But] I delightin Your law.
May Your compassioncometo me that I may live,For Your lawis my delight.
I delightto doYour will,O my God;Your Lawis withinmy heart."
But Mosesspokebeforethe LORD,saying,"Behold,the sonsof Israelhave not listenedto me; howthen will Pharaohlistento me, for I am unskilledin speech?"
You have seenmanythings,but you do not observe[them]; [Your] earsare open,but nonehears.
Whohas believedour message?And to whomhas the armof the LORDbeen revealed?
"Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,the Godof Israel,'Goand sayto the menof Judahand the inhabitantsof Jerusalem,"Will you not receiveinstructionby listeningto My words?"declaresthe LORD.
"Circumciseyourselves to the LORDAnd removethe foreskinsof your heart,Menof Judahand inhabitantsof Jerusalem,OrelseMy wrathwill goforthlike fireAnd burnwith noneto quenchit, Becauseof the evilof your deeds."
Nowhearthis,O foolishand senselesspeople,Who have eyesbut do not see;Who have earsbut do not hear.
"And now,becauseyou have doneallthesethings,"declaresthe LORD,"and I spoketo you, risingup earlyand speaking,but you did not hear,and I calledyou but you did not answer,
"Yet they did not listento Me or inclinetheir ear,but stiffenedtheir neck;they did moreevilthantheir fathers.
Egyptand Judah,and Edomand the sonsof Ammon,and Moaband allthose inhabitingthe desertwho clipthe hair on their temples;for allthe nationsare uncircumcised,and allthe houseof Israelare uncircumcisedof heart."
yet the houseof Israelwill not be willingto listento you, sincethey are not willingto listento Me. Surelythe wholehouseof Israelis stubbornand obstinate.
and he seesthe swordcomingupon the landand blowson the trumpetand warnsthe people,
"But ifyou on your partwarna wickedmanto turnfrom his wayand he does not turnfrom his way,he will diein his iniquity,but you have deliveredyour life.
Then Amaziah,the priestof Bethel,sent[word] to Jeroboamkingof Israel,saying,"Amoshas conspiredagainstyou in the midstof the houseof Israel;the landis unableto endureallhis words.
But when he sawmanyof the Phariseesand Sadduceescomingfor baptism,he saidto them, "You broodof vipers,whowarnedyou to fleefrom the wrathto come?
Oneof the lawyerssaidto Him in reply,"Teacher,when You saythis,You insultus too."
The scribesand the chief prieststriedto layhandson Him that veryhour,and they fearedthe people;for they understoodthat He spokethisparableagainstthem.
"The worldcannothateyou, but it hatesMe becauseI testifyof it, that its deedsare evil.
Thoseof the Phariseeswho were with Him heardthese thingsand saidto Him, "We are not blindtoo,are we?"
"You men who are stiff-neckedand uncircumcisedin heartand earsare alwaysresistingthe HolySpirit;you are doing justas your fathersdid.
Thenfallingon his knees,he criedout with a loudvoice,"Lord,do not holdthissinagainst them!" Having saidthis,he fell asleep.
For I joyfully concurwith the lawof Godin the innerman,
"Yet to thisdaythe LORDhas not givenyou a heartto know,noreyesto see,norearsto hear.
We proclaimHim, admonishingeverymanand teachingeverymanwith allwisdom,sothat we may presenteverymancompletein Christ.
For the timewill comewhenthey will not enduresounddoctrine;but [wanting] to have their earstickled,they will accumulatefor themselvesteachersin accordanceto their owndesires,
By faithNoah,being warned[by God] aboutthings not yetseen,in reverencepreparedan arkfor the salvationof his household,by whichhe condemnedthe world,and becamean heirof the righteousnesswhich is accordingto faith.
