He spoke,and there camea swarmof flies[And] gnatsin alltheir territory.
They surroundedme like bees;They were extinguishedas a fireof thorns;In the nameof the LORDI will surelycutthem off.
"For ifyou do not letMy peoplego,behold,I will sendswarmsof insects on you and on your servantsand on your peopleand into your houses;and the housesof the Egyptianswill be fullof swarmsof insects, and alsothe groundon whichthey [dwell].
Then the LORDdidso.And there camegreatswarmsof insects into the houseof Pharaohand the housesof his servantsand the landwas laidwastebecauseof the swarmsof insects in allthe landof Egypt.
They are comingfrom a farcountry,From the farthesthorizons,The LORDand His instrumentsof indignation,To destroythe wholeland.
Woeto those who godownto Egyptfor help[And] relyon horses,And trustin chariotsbecausethey are manyAnd in horsemenbecausethey are verystrong,But they do not lookto the HolyOneof Israel,norseekthe LORD!
He will also liftup a standardto the distantnation,And will whistlefor it from the endsof the earth;And behold,it will comewith speedswiftly.
"The LORDwill bringon you, on your people,and on your father'shousesuchdaysas have nevercomesincethe daythat Ephraimseparatedfrom Judah,the kingof Assyria."

"Moreover,the LORDyour Godwill sendthe hornetagainst them, untilthose who are leftand hidethemselves from you perish.
Then I sentthe hornetbeforeyou and it droveout the twokingsof the Amoritesfrom beforeyou, [but] not by your swordor your bow.
