Then Pekahsonof Remaliah,his officer,conspiredagainsthim and struckhim in Samaria,in the castleof the king'shousewith Argoband Arieh;and with him were fiftymenof the Gileadites,and he killedhim and becamekingin his place.

ThenRezinkingof Aramand Pekahsonof Remaliah,kingof Israel,cameup to Jerusalemto [wage] war;and they besiegedAhaz,but couldnot overcomehim.
The visionof Isaiahthe sonof AmozconcerningJudahand Jerusalem,whichhe sawduring the reignsof Uzziah,Jotham,Ahaz[and] Hezekiah,kingsof Judah.
"Inasmuchas thesepeoplehave rejectedthe gentlyflowingwatersof ShiloahAnd rejoicein Rezinand the sonof Remaliah;
Therefore the LORDraisesagainstthem adversariesfrom RezinAnd spurstheir enemieson,
"Aramwas your customerbecauseof the abundanceof your goods;they paidfor your wareswith emeralds,purple,embroideredwork,finelinen,coraland rubies.
