SeraphimstoodaboveHim, eachhaving sixwings:with twohe coveredhis face,and with twohe coveredhis feet,and with twohe flew.
And the fourliving creatures,eachoneof them havingsixwings,are fullof eyesaroundand within;and dayand nightthey do not ceaseto say,"HOLY,HOLY,HOLY[is] THE LORDGOD,THE ALMIGHTY,WHOWAS AND WHO IS AND WHO IS TO COME."
Such were their faces.Their wingswere spreadout above;eachhad twotouchinganother[being], and twocoveringtheir bodies.
He makesthe windsHis messengers,FlamingfireHis ministers.
Blessthe LORD,you His angels,Mightyin strength,who performHis word,Obeyingthe voiceof His word!
Then oneof the seraphimflewto me with a burningcoalin his hand,which he had takenfrom the altarwith tongs.
He rodeupon a cheruband flew;And He spedupon the wingsof the wind.
Fivecubits[was] the onewingof the cheruband fivecubitsthe otherwingof the cherub;from the endof one wingto the endof the other wing[were] tencubits.
And I sawanotherangelflyingin midheaven,havingan eternalgospelto preachto thosewho liveon the earth,and to everynationand tribeand tongueand people;
ThenI looked,and I heardan eagleflyingin midheaven,sayingwith a loudvoice,"Woe,woe,woeto thosewho dwellon the earth,becauseof the remainingblastsof the trumpetof the threeangelswho are aboutto sound!"
And allthe angelswere standingaroundthe throneand [around] the eldersand the fourliving creatures;and they fellon their facesbeforethe throneand worshipedGod,
"A riverof firewas flowingAnd comingout from beforeHim; Thousandsupon thousandswere attendingHim, And myriadsupon myriadswere standingbeforeHim; The courtsat,And the bookswere opened.
Eachonehad fourfacesand eachonefourwings,and beneaththeir wings[was] the formof humanhands.
I also heardthe soundof their wingslike the soundof abundantwatersas they went,like the voiceof the Almighty,a soundof tumultlike the soundof an armycamp;whenever they stoodstill,they droppedtheir wings.
their wingstouchedoneanother;[their faces] did not turnwhen they moved,eachwentstraightforward.
Eachof them had fourfacesand fourwings.
"Behold,He putsnotrustin His holyones,And the heavensare not purein His sight;
Now there was a daywhen the sonsof Godcameto presentthemselves beforethe LORD,and Satanalsocameamongthem.
Micaiah said,"Therefore,hearthe wordof the LORD.I sawthe LORDsittingon His throne,and allthe hostof heavenstandingby Him on His rightand on His left.
For the cherubimspread[their] wingsoverthe placeof the ark,and the cherubimmadea coveringoverthe arkand its polesfrom above.
He placedthe cherubimin the midstof the innerhouse,and the wingsof the cherubimwere spreadout, so that the wingof the onewas touchingthe [one] wall,and the wingof the othercherubwas touchingthe otherwall.So their wingswere touchingeachotherin the centerof the house.
The cherubimhad[their] wingsspreadupward,coveringthe mercyseatwith their wings,with their facestowardeachother;the facesof the cherubimwere towardthe mercyseat.
"The cherubimshall have[their] wingsspreadupward,coveringthe mercyseatwith their wingsand facingoneanother;the facesof the cherubimare to be [turned] towardthe mercyseat.
A Godgreatlyfearedin the councilof the holyones,And awesomeaboveallthose who are aroundHim?
He putsnotrustevenin His servants;And against His angelsHe chargeserror.
When Elijahheard[it], he wrappedhis facein his mantleand wentout and stoodin the entranceof the cave.And behold,a voice[came] to him and said,"Whatare you doing here,Elijah?"
He saidalso, "I am the Godof your father,the Godof Abraham,the Godof Isaac,and the Godof Jacob."Then Moseshidhis face,for he was afraidto lookat God.
Abramfellon his face,and Godtalkedwith him, saying,
And of the angelsHe says,"WHO MAKESHIS ANGELSWINDS,AND HIS MINISTERSA FLAMEOF FIRE."
And the wholemultitudeof the peoplewere in prayeroutsideat the hourof the incenseoffering.
He spokeand saidto those who were standingbeforehim, saying,"Removethe filthygarmentsfrom him." Again he saidto him, "See,I have takenyour iniquityawayfrom you and will clotheyou with festalrobes."
whileI was stillspeakingin prayer,then the manGabriel,whomI had seenin the visionpreviously,cameto me in [my] extremewearinessabout the timeof the eveningoffering.
Now when the cherubimmoved,the wheelswould gobesidethem; also when the cherubimliftedup their wingsto risefrom the ground,the wheelswould not turnfrom besidethem.
As I looked,behold,a stormwindwas comingfrom the north,a greatcloudwith fireflashingforthcontinually and a brightlightaroundit, and in its midstsomething like glowingmetalin the midstof the fire.
"You aloneare the LORD.You have madethe heavens,The heavenof heavenswith alltheir host,The earthand allthat is on it, The seasand allthat is in them. You givelifeto allof them And the heavenlyhostbowsdownbefore You.
