Shallumsonof Jabeshbecamekingin the thirty-ninthyearof Uzziahkingof Judah,and he reignedone monthin Samaria.
In the secondyearof Pekahthe sonof Remaliahkingof Israel,Jothamthe sonof Uzziahkingof Judahbecameking.
And Azariahsleptwith his fathers,and they buriedhim with his fathersin the cityof David,and Jothamhis sonbecamekingin his place.
Now it cameabout in the thirdyearof Hoshea,the sonof Elahkingof Israel,that Hezekiahthe sonof Ahazkingof Judahbecameking.
Then he sentEliakimwhowas overthe householdwith Shebnathe scribeand the eldersof the priests,coveredwith sackcloth,to Isaiahthe prophetthe sonof Amoz.
And allthe peopleof JudahtookUzziah,who[was] sixteenyearsold,and madehim kingin the placeof his fatherAmaziah.
Now the restof the actsof Uzziah,firstto last,the prophetIsaiah,the sonof Amoz,has written.
Jothamwas twenty-fiveyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedsixteenyearsin Jerusalem.And his mother'snamewas Jerushahthe daughterof Zadok.
Ahaz[was] twentyyearsoldwhen he becameking,and he reignedsixteenyearsin Jerusalem;and he did not dorightin the sightof the LORDas Davidhis father[had done].
The consecratedthingswere 600bullsand 3,000sheep.
OnceYou spokein visionto Your godlyones,And said,"I have givenhelpto one whois mighty;I have exaltedone chosenfrom the people.

at that timethe LORDspokethroughIsaiahthe sonof Amoz,saying,"Goand loosenthe sackclothfrom your hipsand takeyour shoesoffyour feet."And he didso,goingnakedand barefoot.
A harshvisionhas been shownto me; The treacherousone [still] dealstreacherously,and the destroyer[still] destroys.Goup, Elam,laysiege,Media;I have madean endof allthe groaningshe has caused.
Then he sentEliakimwhowas overthe householdwith Shebnathe scribeand the eldersof the priests,coveredwith sackcloth,to Isaiahthe prophet,the sonof Amoz.
In thosedaysHezekiahbecamemortallyill.And Isaiahthe prophetthe sonof Amozcameto him and saidto him, "Thussaysthe LORD,Setyour housein order,for you shall dieand not live.'"
Getyourself up on a highmountain,O Zion,bearerof good news,Liftup your voicemightily,O Jerusalem,bearerof good news;Lift[it] up, do not fear.Sayto the citiesof Judah,"Hereis your God!"
In the yearof KingUzziah'sdeathI sawthe Lordsittingon a throne,loftyand exalted,with the trainof His robefillingthe temple.
Now it cameabout in the daysof Ahaz,the sonof Jotham,the sonof Uzziah,kingof Judah,that Rezinthe kingof Aramand Pekahthe sonof Remaliah,kingof Israel,wentup to Jerusalemto [wage] waragainstit, but couldnot conquerit.
Thussaysthe LORDof hosts,"Do not listento the wordsof the prophetswho are prophesyingto you. They are leadingyou into futility;They speaka visionof their own imagination,Not from the mouthof the LORD.
Now it cameabout in the thirtiethyear,on the fifth[day] of the fourthmonth,while I was by the riverChebaramongthe exiles,the heavenswere openedand I sawvisionsof God.
The wordof the LORDwhichcameto Hoseathe sonof Beeri,during the daysof Uzziah,Jotham,Ahaz[and] Hezekiah,kingsof Judah,and during the daysof Jeroboamthe sonof Joash,kingof Israel.
The wordsof Amos,whowas among the sheepherdersfrom Tekoa,whichhe envisionedin visionsconcerningIsraelin the daysof Uzziahkingof Judah,and in the daysof Jeroboamsonof Joash,kingof Israel,two yearsbeforethe earthquake.
