They cryout to Me, "My God,we of IsraelknowYou!"
He said,"Comewith me and seemy zealfor the LORD."So he made him ridein his chariot.
However,[as for] the sinsof Jeroboamthe sonof Nebat,whichhe made Israelsin,from these Jehudid not depart,[even] the goldencalvesthat [were] at Betheland that [were] at Dan.
"Do not trustin deceptivewords,saying,Thisis the templeof the LORD,the templeof the LORD,the templeof the LORD.'
I will goaway [and] returnto My placeUntilthey acknowledgetheir guiltand seekMy face;In their afflictionthey will earnestlyseekMe.
Israelhas rejectedthe good;The enemywill pursuehim.
Her leaderspronouncejudgmentfor a bribe,Her priestsinstructfor a priceAnd her prophetsdivinefor money.Yet they leanon the LORDsaying,"Is not the LORDin our midst?Calamitywill not comeupon us."
"Laterthe othervirginsalsocame,saying,Lord,lord,openup for us.'
"Not everyonewho saysto Me, 'Lord,Lord,'will enterthe kingdomof heaven,but he who doesthe willof My Fatherwho is in heaven[will enter].
"Oncethe head of the housegetsup and shutsthe door,and you beginto standoutsideand knockon the door,saying,Lord,openup to us!' thenHe will answerand sayto you, 'I do not knowwhereyou are from.'
They professto knowGod,but by [their] deedsthey deny[Him], beingdetestableand disobedientand worthlessfor anygooddeed.
The one who says,"I have come to knowHim," and does not keepHis commandments,is a liar,and the truthis not in him;
