So Joseph'smastertookhim and puthim into the jail,the placewherethe king'sprisonerswere confined;and he was therein the jail.
When the chiefbakersawthat he had interpretedfavorably,he saidto Joseph,"I also[saw] in my dream,and behold,[there were] threebasketsof whitebreadon my head;
"Now a Hebrewyouth[was] with us there,a servantof the captainof the bodyguard,and we related[them] to him, and he interpretedour dreamsfor us. To eachonehe interpretedaccording to his [own] dream.
They afflictedhis feetwith fetters,He himselfwas laidin irons;
For they have openedthe wickedand deceitfulmouthagainstme; They have spokenagainstme with a lyingtongue.
"He who kidnapsa man,whether he sellshim or he is foundin his possession,shall surelybe putto death.
"My GodsentHis angeland shutthe lions'mouthsand they have not harmedme, inasmuchas I was foundinnocentbeforeHim; and alsotowardyou, O king,I have committednocrime."
Jesusansweredthem, "I showedyou manygoodworksfrom the Father;for whichof them are you stoningMe?"
"But [they have done this] to fulfillthe wordthat is writtenin their Law,THEY HATEDME WITHOUT A CAUSE.'
"Ifa manis caughtkidnappinganyof his countrymenof the sonsof Israel,and he dealswith him violentlyor sellshim, then that thiefshall die;so you shall purgethe evilfrom amongyou.
and immoral menand homosexualsand kidnappersand liarsand perjurers,and whateverelseis contraryto soundteaching,
"Now, my father,see!Indeed,seethe edgeof your robein my hand!For in that I cutoffthe edgeof your robeand did not killyou, knowand perceivethat thereis noevilor rebellionin my hands,and I have not sinnedagainst you, though you are lyingin waitfor my lifeto takeit.
