Now Abramwas veryrichin livestock,in silverand in gold.
Therefore he treatedAbramwellfor her sake;and gavehim sheepand oxenand donkeysand maleand femaleservantsand femaledonkeysand camels.
And the landcould not sustainthem while dwellingtogether,for their possessionswere so greatthat they were not ableto remaintogether.
Now Abrahamwas old,advancedin age;and the LORDhad blessedAbrahamin everyway.
"The LORDhas greatlyblessedmy master,so that he has becomerich;and He has givenhim flocksand herds,and silverand gold,and servantsand maids,and camelsand donkeys.
for he hadpossessionsof flocksand herdsand a greathousehold,so that the Philistinesenviedhim.
So the manbecameexceedinglyprosperous,and hadlargeflocksand femaleand maleservantsand camelsand donkeys.
"Have You not madea hedgeabouthim and his houseand allthat he has, on everyside?You have blessedthe workof his hands,and his possessionshave increasedin the land.
His possessionsalso were 7,000sheep,3000camels,500yokeof oxen,500femaledonkeys,and verymanyservants;and that manwas the greatestof allthe menof the east.
It is the blessingof the LORDthat makesrich,And He addsnosorrowto it.
"But seekfirstHis kingdomand His righteousness,and allthese thingswill be addedto you.
"But you shall rememberthe LORDyour God,for it is He who is givingyou powerto makewealth,that He may confirmHis covenantwhichHe sworeto your fathers,as [it is] thisday.
for bodilydisciplineis only of littleprofit,but godlinessis profitablefor all things,since it holdspromisefor the presentlifeand [also] for the [life] to come.
"The LORDmakespoorand rich;He bringslow,He alsoexalts.
