When they cameto the threshingfloorof Atad,whichis beyondthe Jordan,they lamentedtherewith a verygreatand sorrowfullamentation;and he observedsevendaysmourningfor his father.
Then they satdownon the groundwith him for sevendaysand sevennightswith noonespeakinga wordto him, for they sawthat [his] painwas verygreat.

And [it was] like the appearanceof the visionwhichI saw,like the visionwhichI sawwhen He cameto destroythe city.And the visions[were] like the visionwhichI sawby the riverChebar;and I fellon my face.
I heardand my inwardpartstrembled,At the soundmy lipsquivered.Decayentersmy bones,And in my placeI tremble.BecauseI must waitquietlyfor the dayof distress,For the peopleto arise[who] will invadeus.
