"I will executegreatvengeanceon them with wrathfulrebukes;and they will knowthat I am the LORDwhen I layMy vengeanceon them."'"

It cameabout in the sixthyear,on the fifth[day] of the sixthmonth,as I was sittingin my housewith the eldersof Judahsittingbeforeme, that the handof the LordGODfellon me there.
Ephraim,as I have seen,Is plantedin a pleasant meadowlike Tyre;But Ephraimwill bringout his childrenfor slaughter.
Thussaysthe LORD,"For threetransgressionsof Tyreand for fourI will not revokeits [punishment], Becausethey deliveredup an entirepopulationto EdomAnd did not remember[the] covenantof brotherhood.
