Throughout alltheir journeyswhenever the cloudwas takenup from overthe tabernacle,the sonsof Israelwould setout;
You, in Your greatcompassion,Did not forsakethem in the wilderness;The pillarof clouddid not leavethem by day,To guidethem on their way,Northe pillarof fireby night,to lightfor them the wayin whichthey were to go.
He spreada cloudfor a covering,And fireto illumineby night.
Then He ledthem with the cloudby dayAnd allthe nightwith a lightof fire.
Wheneverthe cloudwas liftedfrom overthe tent,afterwardthe sonsof Israelwould then setout; and in the placewherethe cloudsettleddown,therethe sonsof Israelwould camp.
Whetherit was two daysora monthora yearthat the cloudlingeredoverthe tabernacle,stayingaboveit, the sonsof Israelremainedcampedand did not setout; but when it was lifted,they did setout.
For I do not wantyou to be unaware,brethren,that our fatherswere allunderthe cloudand allpassed throughthe sea;
