you shall say,'It is a Passoversacrificeto the LORDwhopassedoverthe housesof the sonsof Israelin Egyptwhen He smotethe Egyptians,but sparedour homes.'"And the peoplebowedlowand worshiped.
Then Davidsaidto allthe assembly,"Nowblessthe LORDyour God."And allthe assemblyblessedthe LORD,the Godof their fathers,and bowedlowand didhomageto the LORDand to the king.
Jehoshaphatbowedhis head with [his] faceto the ground,and allJudahand the inhabitantsof Jerusalemfelldownbeforethe LORD,worshipingthe LORD.
Moreover, KingHezekiahand the officialsorderedthe Levitesto singpraisesto the LORDwith the wordsof Davidand Asaphthe seer.So they sangpraiseswith joy,and boweddownand worshiped.
Then Ezrablessedthe LORDthe greatGod.And allthe peopleanswered,"Amen,Amen!"while liftingup their hands;then they bowedlowand worshipedthe LORDwith [their] facesto the ground.
O God,we have heardwith our ears,Our fathershave toldus The workthat You didin their days,In the daysof old.
For He establisheda testimonyin JacobAnd appointeda lawin Israel,WhichHe commandedour fathersThat they should teachthem to their children,
and that you may tellin the hearingof your son,and of your grandson,howI madea mockeryof the Egyptiansand howI performedMy signsamong them, that you may knowthat I am the LORD."
Now you shall eatit in thismanner:[with] your loinsgirded,your sandalson your feet,and your staffin your hand;and you shall eatit in haste--it is the LORD'SPassover.
"For the LORDwill passthroughto smitethe Egyptians;and when He seesthe bloodon the linteland on the twodoorposts,the LORDwill passoverthe doorand will not allowthe destroyerto comein to your housesto smite[you].
Then the sonsof Israelwentand did[so]; justas the LORDhad commandedMosesand Aaron,sothey did.
"And it shall be whenyour sonasksyou in timeto come,saying,'Whatis this?'then you shall sayto him, 'With a powerfulhandthe LORDbroughtus out of Egypt,from the houseof slavery.
"You shall tellyour sonon that day,saying,'It is becauseof whatthe LORDdidfor me when I cameout of Egypt.'
"You shall not offerthe bloodof My sacrificewith leavenedbread,noris the sacrificeof the Feastof the Passoverto be leftoveruntil morning.
Mosesmadehasteto bowlowtowardthe earthand worship.
So the peoplebelieved;and when they heardthat the LORDwas concernedabout the sonsof Israeland that He had seentheir affliction,then they bowedlowand worshiped.
Cleanout the oldleavensothat you may be a newlump,justas you are [in fact] unleavened.For Christour Passoveralsohas been sacrificed.
"You shall sacrificethe Passoverto the LORDyour Godfrom the flockand the herd,in the placewherethe LORDchoosesto establishHis name.
"You are not allowedto sacrificethe Passoverin anyof your townswhichthe LORDyour Godis givingyou;
