Indeed,Mordecaiwas greatin the king'shouse,and his famespreadthroughout allthe provinces;for the manMordecaibecamegreaterand greater.
Now there was a longwarbetweenthe houseof Sauland the houseof David;and Davidgrewsteadilystronger,but the houseof Saulgrewweakercontinually.
Davidbecamegreaterand greater,for the LORDof hosts[was] with him.
Then the fameof Davidwentout into allthe lands;and the LORDbroughtthe fearof him on allthe nations.
And allthe accomplishmentsof his authorityand strength,and the fullaccountof the greatnessof Mordecaito whichthe kingadvancedhim, are they not writtenin the Bookof the Chroniclesof the Kingsof Mediaand Persia?
He will be like a tree[firmly] plantedby streamsof water,Whichyieldsits fruitin its seasonAnd its leafdoes not wither;And in whateverhe does,he prospers.
You have deliveredme from the contentionsof the people;You have placedme as headof the nations;A peoplewhom I have not knownserveme.
Plantedin the houseof the LORD,They will flourishin the courtsof our God.
The LORDgavethe peoplefavorin the sightof the Egyptians.Furthermore,the manMoses[himself] was greatlyesteemed in the landof Egypt,[both] in the sightof Pharaoh'sservantsand in the sightof the people.
But the pathof the righteousis like the lightof dawn,That shinesbrighterand brighteruntilthe fullday.
Therewill be noendto the increaseof [His] governmentor of peace,On the throneof Davidand overhis kingdom,To establishit and to upholdit with justiceand righteousnessFrom thenon and forevermore.The zealof the LORDof hostswill accomplishthis.
"Behold,I am going to dealat that timeWith allyour oppressors,I will savethe lameAnd gatherthe outcast,And I will turntheir shameinto praiseand renownIn allthe earth.
The newsabout Him spreadthroughoutallSyria;and they broughtto Him allwho were ill,those sufferingwith variousdiseasesand pains,demoniacs,epileptics,paralytics;and He healedthem.
So the LORDwas with Joshua,and his famewas in allthe land.
