The kingarosein his angerfrom drinkingwine[and went] into the palacegarden;but Hamanstayedto begfor his lifefrom QueenEsther,for he sawthat harmhad been determinedagainsthim by the king.
O God,whyhave You rejected[us] forever?Why does Your angersmokeagainst the sheepof Your pasture?
Howlong,O LORD?Will You be angryforever?Will Your jealousyburnlikefire?

The king'swrathis like the roaringof a lion,But his favoris like dewon the grass.
The terrorof a kingis like the growlingof a lion;He who provokeshim to angerforfeitshis own life.
Becauseof thisthe kingbecameindignantand veryfuriousand gaveordersto destroyallthe wisemenof Babylon.
ThenNebuchadnezzarin rageand angergaveordersto bringShadrach,Meshachand Abed-nego;thenthesemenwere broughtbeforethe king.
ThenNebuchadnezzarwas filledwith wrath,and his facialexpressionwas alteredtowardShadrach,Meshachand Abed-nego.He answeredby givingordersto heatthe furnaceseventimesmorethanit was usuallyheated.
Whocan standbeforeHis indignation?Whocan endurethe burningof His anger?His wrathis pouredout like fireAnd the rocksare brokenup by Him.
Wives,[be subject] to your ownhusbands,as to the Lord.
But as the churchis subjectto Christ,soalsothe wives[ought to be] to their husbandsin everything.
"The LORDshall neverbe willingto forgivehim, but ratherthe angerof the LORDand His jealousywill burnagainst that man,and everycursewhich is writtenin thisbookwill reston him, and the LORDwill blotout his namefrom underheaven.
In the same way,you wives,be submissiveto your ownhusbandssothat evenifany[of them] are disobedientto the word,they may be wonwithouta wordby the behaviorof their wives,
