They cameto the middleof the houseas if to getwheat,and they struckhim in the belly;and Rechaband Baanahhis brotherescaped.
Solomonthen gaveHiram20000korsof wheatas foodfor his household,and twentykorsof beatenoil;thusSolomonwould giveHiramyearby year.
untilI comeand takeyou away to a landlike your own land,a landof grainand newwine,a landof breadand vineyards,a landof olivetreesand honey,that you may liveand not die."But do not listento Hezekiahwhenhe misleadsyou, saying,"The LORDwill deliverus."
He makespeacein your borders;He satisfiesyou with the finestof the wheat.
"But I would feedyou with the finestof the wheat,And with honeyfrom the rockI would satisfyyou."
And it will comeabout in that day,that everyplacewherethere used to be a thousandvines,[valued] at a thousand[shekels] of silver,will becomebriarsand thorns.
"I broughtyou into the fruitfullandTo eatits fruitand its goodthings.But you cameand defiledMy land,And My inheritanceyou madean abomination.
"They will devouryour harvestand your food;They will devouryour sonsand your daughters;They will devouryour flocksand your herds;They will devouryour vinesand your figtrees;They will demolishwith the swordyour fortifiedcitiesin whichyou trust.
"Judahand the landof Israel,they were your traders;with the wheatof Minnith,cakes,honey,oiland balmthey paidfor your merchandise.
And the earthwill respondto the grain,to the newwineand to the oil,And they will respondto Jezreel.
"For she does not knowthat it was I who gaveher the grain,the newwineand the oil,And lavishedon her silverand gold,[Which] they usedfor Baal.
Eachof them will situnderhis vineAnd underhis figtree,With nooneto make[them] afraid,For the mouthof the LORDof hostshas spoken.
Thoughthe figtreeshould not blossomAnd therebe nofruiton the vines,[Though] the yieldof the oliveshould failAnd the fieldsproducenofood,Though the flockshould be cutofffrom the foldAnd therebe nocattlein the stalls,
Then they cameto the valleyof Eshcoland from therecutdowna branchwith a singleclusterof grapes;and they carriedit on a polebetween two[men], with someof the pomegranatesand the figs.
Sothey gatheredthem up, and filledtwelvebasketswith fragmentsfrom the fivebarleyloaveswhichwere left overby thosewho had eaten.
"There is a ladherewhohasfivebarleyloavesand twofish,but whatare thesefor so many people?"
"He made him rideon the highplacesof the earth,And he atethe produceof the field;And He made him suckhoneyfrom the rock,And oilfrom the flintyrock,
Curdsof cows,and milkof the flock,With fatof lambs,And rams,the breedof Bashan,and goats,With the finestof the wheat--And of the bloodof grapesyou drankwine.
"O Israel,you should listenand be carefulto do[it], that it may be wellwith you and that you may multiplygreatly,justas the LORD,the Godof your fathers,has promisedyou, [in] a landflowingwith milkand honey.
"For the LORDyour Godis bringingyou into a goodland,a landof brooksof water,of fountainsand springs,flowingforthin valleysand hills;
a landwhereyou will eatfoodwithoutscarcity,in which you will not lackanything;a landwhosestonesare iron,and out of whose hillsyou can digcopper.
