"Now,O Israel,listento the statutesand the judgmentswhichI am teachingyou to perform,sothat you may liveand goin and takepossessionof the landwhichthe LORD,the Godof your fathers,is givingyou.
For Moseswritesthat the manwho practicesthe righteousnesswhich is basedon lawshall liveby that righteousness.
"Allthe commandmentsthat I am commandingyou todayyou shall be carefulto do,that you may liveand multiply,and goin and possessthe landwhichthe LORDswore[to give] to your forefathers.
"I gavethem My statutesand informedthem of My ordinances,by which,if a manobservesthem, he will live.
So you shall keepMy statutesand My judgments,by whicha manmay liveif he doesthem; I am the LORD.
in that I commandyou todayto lovethe LORDyour God,to walkin His waysand to keepHis commandmentsand His statutesand His judgments,that you may liveand multiply,and that the LORDyour Godmay blessyou in the landwhereyou are enteringto possessit.
"You shall walkin allthe waywhichthe LORDyour Godhas commandedyou, that you may liveand that it may be wellwith you, and that you may prolong[your] daysin the landwhichyou will possess.
Then MosessummonedallIsraeland saidto them: "Hear,O Israel,the statutesand the ordinanceswhichI am speakingtodayin your hearing,that you may learnthem and observethem carefully.
"So you shall keepMy commandments,and dothem; I am the LORD.
You shall thus observeallMy statutesand allMy ordinancesand dothem; I am the LORD.'"
teachingthem to observeallthat I commandedyou; and lo,I amwith you always,evento the endof the age."
"My servantDavidwill be kingoverthem, and they will allhaveoneshepherd;and they will walkin My ordinancesand keepMy statutesand observethem.
"I will putMy Spiritwithinyou and causeyou to walkin My statutes,and you will be carefulto observeMy ordinances.
"But the childrenrebelledagainst Me; they did not walkin My statutes,norwere they carefulto observeMy ordinances,by which,[if] a manobservesthem, he will live;they profanedMy sabbaths.So I resolvedto pourout My wrathon them, to accomplishMy angeragainst them in the wilderness.
that they may walkin My statutesand keepMy ordinancesand dothem. Then they will be My people,and I shall be their God.
You have ordainedYour precepts,That we should keep[them] diligently.
Sothat they might keepHis statutesAnd observeHis laws,Praisethe LORD!
"I callheavenand earthto witnessagainst you today,that I have setbeforeyou lifeand death,the blessingand the curse.So chooselifein orderthat you may live,you and your descendants,
"Justice,[and only] justice,you shall pursue,that you may liveand possessthe landwhichthe LORDyour Godis givingyou.
and you shall be carefulto doallthe statutesand the judgmentswhichI am settingbeforeyou today.
"You shall therefore lovethe LORDyour God,and alwayskeepHis charge,His statutes,His ordinances,and His commandments.
theseare the testimoniesand the statutesand the ordinanceswhichMosesspoketo the sonsof Israel,when they cameout from Egypt,
"Or whatgreatnationis there that has statutesand judgmentsas righteousas thiswholelawwhichI am settingbeforeyou today?
You shall keepMy statutesand practicethem; I am the LORDwho sanctifiesyou.
"You are My friendsifyou dowhatI commandyou.
They were bothrighteousin the sightof God,walkingblamelesslyin allthe commandmentsand requirementsof the Lord.
then teachthem the statutesand the laws,and makeknownto them the wayin which they are to walkand the workthey are to do.
In the fortiethyear,on the first[day] of the eleventhmonth,Mosesspoketo the childrenof Israel,according to allthat the LORDhad commandedhim [to give] to them,
"So you shall keepHis statutesand His commandmentswhichI am givingyou today,that it may gowellwith you and with your childrenafteryou, and that you may livelongon the landwhichthe LORDyour Godis givingyou for alltime."
by lovingthe LORDyour God,by obeyingHis voice,and by holdingfastto Him; for thisis your lifeand the lengthof your days,that you may livein the landwhichthe LORDsworeto your fathers,to Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,to givethem."
You are to keepMy statutes.You shall not breedtogethertwokindsof your cattle;you shall not sowyour fieldwith twokindsof seed, norweara garmentupon you of twokindsof materialmixedtogether.
See,I have placedthe landbeforeyou; goin and possessthe landwhichthe LORDsworeto giveto your fathers,to Abraham,to Isaac,and to Jacob,to them and their descendantsafterthem.'
"Now thisis the commandment,the statutesand the judgmentswhichthe LORDyour Godhas commanded[me] to teachyou, that you might do[them] in the landwhereyou are goingoverto possessit,
"So the LORDcommandedus to observeallthesestatutes,to fearthe LORDour Godfor our goodalwaysand for our survival,as [it is] today.
"Therefore, you shall keepthe commandmentand the statutesand the judgmentswhichI am commandingyou today,to dothem.
"Bewarethat you do not forgetthe LORDyour Godby not keepingHis commandmentsand His ordinancesand His statuteswhichI am commandingyou today;
"Hear,O Israel!You are crossingoverthe Jordantodayto goin to dispossessnationsgreaterand mightierthanyou, greatcitiesfortifiedto heaven,
"Ifa prophetora dreamerof dreamsarisesamongyou and givesyou a signora wonder,
Then Joshuasaidto the sonsof Israel,"Comehere,and hearthe wordsof the LORDyour God."
And the LORDsaidto me, "Proclaimallthesewordsin the citiesof Judahand in the streetsof Jerusalem,saying,Hearthe wordsof thiscovenantand dothem.
