I ledthem with cordsof a man,with bondsof love,And I becameto them as one who liftsthe yokefrom their jaws;And I bentdown[and] fedthem.
and in the wildernesswhereyou sawhowthe LORDyour Godcarriedyou, justas a mancarrieshis son,in allthe waywhichyou have walkeduntilyou cameto thisplace.'
Seenowthat I, I am He, And thereis nogodbesidesMe; It is I who putto deathand givelife.I have woundedand it is I who heal,And thereis noonewho can deliverfrom My hand.
"To you it was shownthat you might knowthat the LORD,He is God;thereis nootherbesidesHim.
"Knowtherefore today,and takeit to your heart,that the LORD,He is Godin heavenaboveand on the earthbelow;thereis noother.
for the LORDour Godis He who broughtus and our fathersup out of the landof Egypt,from the houseof bondage,and whodidthesegreatsignsin our sightand preservedus through allthe wayin whichwe wentand among allthe peoplesthrough whosemidstwe passed.
