The curseof the LORDis on the houseof the wicked,But He blessesthe dwellingof the righteous.
"So I will pollutethe princesof the sanctuary,And I will consignJacobto the banand Israelto revilement.
IfI goout to the country,Behold,those slainwith the sword!Or ifI enterthe city,Behold,diseasesof famine!For bothprophetand priestHave gone rovingaboutin the landthat they do not know.'"
then I will makethishouselike Shiloh,and thiscityI will makea curseto allthe nationsof the earth."'"
"So the LORDwas nolongerableto endure[it], becauseof the evilof your deeds,becauseof the abominationswhichyou have committed;thus your landhas becomea ruin,an objectof horrorand a curse,withoutan inhabitant,as [it is] thisday.

Our skinhas becomeas hotas an oven,Becauseof the burningheatof famine.
Whatthe gnawinglocusthas left,the swarminglocusthas eaten;And whatthe swarminglocusthas left,the creepinglocusthas eaten;And whatthe creepinglocusthas left,the strippinglocusthas eaten.
A fireconsumesbeforethem And behindthem a flameburns.The landis like the gardenof Edenbeforethem But a desolatewildernessbehindthem, And nothingat allescapesthem.
"I will make it goforth,"declaresthe LORDof hosts,"and it will enterthe houseof the thiefand the houseof the one who swearsfalselyby My name;and it will spendthe nightwithinthat houseand consumeit with its timberand stones."
"Ifyou do not listen,and ifyou do not takeit to heartto givehonorto My name,"saysthe LORDof hosts,"then I will sendthe curseupon you and I will curseyour blessings;and indeed,I have cursedthem [already], becauseyou are not taking[it] to heart.
"He will restorethe heartsof the fathersto [their] childrenand the heartsof the childrento their fathers,sothat I will not comeand smitethe landwith a curse."
sothat he will not give[even] oneof them anyof the fleshof his childrenwhichhe will eat,sincehe has nothing[else] left,during the siegeand the distressby whichyour enemywill oppressyou in allyour towns.
