"For the kingof the Northwill againraisea greatermultitudethanthe former,and afteran intervalof someyearshe will presson with a greatarmyand muchequipment.
"When the multitudeis carriedaway, his heartwill be liftedup, and he will cause tensof thousandsto fall;yet he will not prevail.
"Now in thosetimesmanywill riseup againstthe kingof the South;the violentonesamong your peoplewill also liftthemselves up in order to fulfillthe vision,but they will falldown.
"At the endtimethe kingof the Southwill collidewith him, and the kingof the Northwill stormagainsthim with chariots,with horsemenand with manyships;and he will entercountries,overflow[them] and passthrough.
I heardthe mandressedin linen,whowas abovethe watersof the river,as he raisedhis righthandand his lefttowardheaven,and sworeby Him wholivesforeverthat it would be for a time,times,and half[a [time]; and as soon as they finishshatteringthe powerof the holypeople,allthese[events] will be completed.
"Let his mindbe changedfrom [that of] a manAnd let a beast'smindbe givento him, And let sevenperiods of timepassoverhim.
