But on the night[immediately] following,the Lordstoodat his side and said,"Take courage;for as you have solemnly witnessedto My causeat Jerusalem,soyou mustwitnessat Romealso."
Nowafterthese thingswere finished,Paulpurposedin the spiritto goto Jerusalemafter he had passed throughMacedoniaand Achaia,saying,"AfterI have beenthere,I mustalsoseeRome."
And the Lordsaidto Paulin the nightby a vision,"Do not be afraid[any longer], but go on speakingand do not be silent;
But the Lordstoodwith me and strengthenedme, sothat throughme the proclamationmight be fully accomplished,and that allthe Gentilesmight hear;and I was rescuedout of the lion'smouth.
But immediatelyJesusspoketo them, saying,"Take courage,it is I; do not be afraid."
sothat my imprisonmentin [the cause of] Christhas becomewell knownthroughoutthe wholepraetorian guardand to everyoneelse,
Do not fear,for I am with you; Do not anxiously lookabout you, for I am your God.I will strengthenyou, surelyI will helpyou, SurelyI will upholdyou with My righteousrighthand.'
And they broughtto Him a paralyticlyingon a bed.Seeingtheir faith,Jesussaidto the paralytic,"Take courage,son;your sinsare forgiven."
"Whenyou passthrough the waters,I will be with you; And through the rivers,they will not overflowyou. Whenyou walkthroughthe fire,you will not be scorched,Norwill the flameburnyou.
"Do not fear,you wormJacob,you menof Israel;I will helpyou," declaresthe LORD,"and your Redeemeris the HolyOneof Israel.
and I sawHim sayingto me, 'Make haste,and getout of Jerusalemquickly,becausethey will not acceptyour testimonyaboutMe.'
"And now,behold,boundin spirit,I am on my wayto Jerusalem,not knowingwhat will happento me there,
"For Davidsaysof Him, 'I SAWTHE LORDALWAYSIN MY PRESENCE;FOR HE IS AT MY RIGHT HAND,SOTHAT I WILL NOT BE SHAKEN.
"These thingsI have spokento you, sothat in Me you may havepeace.In the worldyou havetribulation,but take courage;I have overcomethe world."
"I will not leaveyou as orphans;I will cometo you.
teachingthem to observeallthat I commandedyou; and lo,I amwith you always,evento the endof the age."
Declaringthe endfrom the beginning,And from ancienttimesthings whichhave not been done,Saying,My purposewill be established,And I will accomplishallMy goodpleasure';
For He standsat the righthandof the needy,To savehim from those who judgehis soul.
for I havefivebrothers--in orderthat he may warnthem, sothat they will not alsocometo thisplaceof torment.'
For you will be a witnessfor Him to allmenof whatyou have seenand heard.
AmI not free?AmI not an apostle?Have I not seenJesusour Lord?Are you not my workin the Lord?
