And those who knowYour namewill puttheir trustin You, For You, O LORD,have not forsakenthose who seekYou.

For the LordGODhelpsMe, Therefore,I am not disgraced;Therefore,I have setMy facelike flint,And I knowthat I will not be ashamed.
"Fearnot, for you will not be putto shame;And do not feelhumiliated,for you will not be disgraced;But you will forgetthe shameof your youth,And the reproachof your widowhoodyou will remembernomore.
The LORDis good,A strongholdin the dayof trouble,And He knowsthose who takerefugein Him.

"I do not askYou to takethem out of the world,but to keepthem from the evil[one].
"No onecancometo Me unlessthe Fatherwho sentMe drawshim; and I will raisehim up on the lastday.
Pauland Barnabasspoke out boldlyand said,"It was necessarythat the wordof Godbe spokento you first;sinceyou repudiateit and judgeyourselvesunworthyof eternallife,behold,we are turningto the Gentiles.
But the Jewsincitedthe devoutwomenof prominenceand the leading menof the city,and instigateda persecutionagainstPauland Barnabas,and drovethem out of their district.
ThenPaulanswered,"Whatare you doing,weepingand breakingmy heart?For I amreadynot onlyto be bound,but evento dieat Jerusalemfor the nameof the LordJesus."
They went on stoningStephenas he calledon [the Lord] and said,"LordJesus,receivemy spirit!"
for I will showhim how muchhe mustsufferfor My name'ssake."
For I am not ashamedof the gospel,for it is the powerof Godfor salvationto everyonewho believes,to the Jewfirstand alsoto the Greek.
justas it is written,"BEHOLD,I LAYIN ZIONA STONEOF STUMBLINGAND A ROCKOF OFFENSE,AND HE WHO BELIEVESIN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
whowill alsoconfirmyou to the end,blamelessin the dayof our LordJesusChrist.
eachman'sworkwill becomeevident;for the daywill showit becauseit is [to be] revealedwith fire,and the fireitselfwill testthe qualityof each man'swork.
accordingto my earnest expectationand hope,that I will not be put to shamein anything,but [that] with allboldness,Christwill evennow,as always,be exaltedin my body,whetherby lifeorby death.
that I may knowHim and the powerof His resurrectionand the fellowshipof His sufferings,being conformedto His death;
whowill transformthe bodyof our humble stateinto conformitywith the bodyof His glory,by the exertionof the power that He hasevento subjectall thingsto Himself.
More thanthat, I countallthingsto be lossin viewof the surpassing valueof knowingChristJesusmy Lord,for whomI have suffered the lossof all things,and countthem but rubbishsothat I may gainChrist,
hinderingus from speakingto the Gentilessothat they may be saved;with the result that they alwaysfill up the measureof their sins.But wrathhas comeupon them to the utmost.
But you, brethren,are not in darkness,that the daywould overtakeyou likea thief;
OTimothy,guardwhat has been entrustedto you, avoidingworldly[and] empty chatter[and] the opposing argumentsof what is falsely called"knowledge"--
Guard,throughthe HolySpiritwho dwellsin us, the treasurewhich has been entrustedto [you].
The Lordgrantmercyto the houseof Onesiphorus,for he oftenrefreshedme and was not ashamedof my chains;
the Lordgrantto him to findmercyfrom the Lordon that day--and you knowvery wellwhatservices he renderedat Ephesus.
Thereforedo not be ashamedof the testimonyof our Lordorof me His prisoner,but join with [me] in sufferingfor the gospelaccordingto the powerof God,
for whichI suffer hardshipevento imprisonmentas a criminal;but the wordof Godis not imprisoned.
in the futurethere is laidup for me the crownof righteousness,whichthe Lord,the righteousJudge,will awardto me on that day;and not onlyto me, but alsoto allwho have lovedHis appearing.
Thisis a trustworthystatement;and concerningthese thingsI wantyou to speak confidently,sothat thosewho have believedGodwill be carefulto engagein gooddeeds.These thingsare goodand profitablefor men.
fixing our eyeson Jesus,the authorand perfecterof faith,whofor the joyset beforeHim enduredthe cross,despisingthe shame,and has sat downat the right handof the throneof God.
For since He Himselfwas temptedin that whichHe has suffered,He is ableto come to the aidof thosewho are tempted.
ThereforeHe is ablealsoto saveforeverthosewho draw nearto GodthroughHim, since He alwayslivesto make intercessionfor them.
who are protectedby the powerof Godthroughfaithfor a salvationreadyto be revealedin the lasttime.
but if[anyone suffers] as a Christian,he is not to be ashamed,but is to glorifyGodin thisname.
Therefore,thosealsowho sufferaccordingto the willof Godshall entrusttheir soulsto a faithfulCreatorin doing what is right.
Nowto Him who is ableto keepyou from stumbling,and to make you standin the presenceof His gloryblamelesswith great joy,
