Now when it was toldDavid,he gatheredallIsraeltogether and crossedthe Jordan,and cameto Helam.And the Arameansarrayedthemselves to meetDavidand foughtagainsthim.
Davidcapturedfrom him 1,700horsemenand 20,000footsoldiers;and Davidhamstrungthe chariothorses,but reserved[enough] of them for 100chariots.
He gatheredmento himself and becameleaderof a maraudingband,after Davidslewthem of [Zobah]; and they wentto Damascusand stayedthere, and reignedin Damascus.

And behold,as BarakpursuedSisera,Jaelcameout to meethim and saidto him, "Come,and I will showyou the manwhomyou are seeking."And he enteredwith her, and beholdSiserawas lyingdeadwith the tentpegin his temple.
"She reachedout her handfor the tentpeg,And her righthandfor the workmen'shammer.Then she struckSisera,she smashedhis head;And she shatteredand piercedhis temple.
