Now Hezekiahsaidto Isaiah,"Whatwill be the signthat the LORDwill healme, and that I shall goup to the houseof the LORDthe thirdday?"
He said,"O LordGOD,howmay I knowthat I will possessit?"
Then thisshall be the signfor you: you will eatthis yearwhatgrowsof itself, in the secondyearwhatspringsfrom the same, and in the thirdyearsow,reap,plantvineyards,and eattheir fruit.
"Returnand sayto Hezekiahthe leaderof My people,'Thussaysthe LORD,the Godof your fatherDavid,"I have heardyour prayer,I have seenyour tears;behold,I will healyou. On the thirddayyou shall goup to the houseof the LORD.
Then Isaiahsaid,"Takea cakeof figs."And they tookand laid[it] on the boil,and he recovered.
Isaiahsaid,"Thisshall be the signto you from the LORD,that the LORDwill dothe thingthat He has spoken:shall the shadowgoforward tenstepsorgobacktensteps?"
Now Isaiahhad said,"Let them takea cakeof figsand applyit to the boil,that he may recover."
Then Hezekiahhad said,"Whatis the signthat I shall goup to the houseof the LORD?"
"Aska signfor yourself from the LORDyour God;make[it] deepas Sheolorhighas heaven."
"Thereforethe LordHimselfwill giveyou a sign:Behold,a virginwill be with childand beara son,and she will callHis nameImmanuel.
"He will reviveus aftertwo days;He will raiseus up on the thirdday,That we may livebeforeHim.
"Twomenwentup into the templeto pray,onea Phariseeand the othera tax collector.
"This[will be] a signfor you: you will finda babywrapped in clothsand lyingin a manger."
So Gideon saidto Him, "IfnowI have foundfavorin Your sight,then showme a signthat it is You who speakwith me.
