He spokeof trees,from the cedarthat is in Lebanoneven to the hyssopthat growson the wall;he spokealso of animalsand birdsand creepingthingsand fish.

Therefore the LORDbroughtthe commandersof the armyof the kingof Assyriaagainstthem, and they capturedManassehwith hooks,boundhim with bronze[chains] and tookhim to Babylon.
(But from my youthhe grewup with me as with a father,And from infancyI guidedher),
The angelof the LORDappearedto him in a blazingfirefrom the midstof a bush;and he looked,and behold,the bushwas burningwith fire,yet the bushwas not consumed.
[Like] a thorn[which] fallsinto the handof a drunkard,So is a proverbin the mouthof fools.
"Like a lilyamongthe thorns,Sois my darlingamongthe maidens."
Thornswill comeup in its fortifiedtowers,Nettlesand thistlesin its fortifiedcities;It will also be a hauntof jackals[And] an abodeof ostriches.
Then I said,"AhLordGOD!They are sayingof me, 'Is he not [just] speakingparables?'"
For behold,they will gobecauseof destruction;Egyptwill gatherthem up, Memphiswill burythem. Weedswill takeovertheir treasuresof silver;Thorns[will be] in their tents.
Ifthe footsays,"BecauseI amnot a hand,I amnot [a part] of the body,"it is not for thisreasonanythe less[a part] of the body.
When the menof Israelsawthat they were in a strait(for the peoplewere hard-pressed),then the peoplehidthemselves in caves,in thickets,in cliffs,in cellars,and in pits.
