Then the priestsbroughtthe arkof the covenantof the LORDto its place,into the innersanctuaryof the house,to the holyof holies,underthe wingsof the cherubim.
"Nowsetyour heartand your soulto seekthe LORDyour God;arise,therefore, and buildthe sanctuaryof the LORDGod,so that you may bringthe arkof the covenantof the LORDand the holyvesselsof Godinto the housethat is to be builtfor the nameof the LORD."
He also saidto the Leviteswho taughtallIsrael[and] who were holyto the LORD,"Putthe holyarkin the housewhichSolomonthe sonof Davidkingof Israelbuilt;it will be a burdenon [your] shouldersnolonger. Nowservethe LORDyour Godand His peopleIsrael.
the lampstandswith their lampsof puregold,to burnin frontof the innersanctuaryin the wayprescribed;
Then allthe eldersof Israelcame,and the Levitestookup the ark.
And KingSolomonand allthe congregationof Israelwho were assembledwith him beforethe ark,were sacrificingso manysheepand oxenthat they could not be countedor numbered.
For the cherubimspreadtheir wingsoverthe placeof the ark,so that the cherubimmadea coveringoverthe arkand its poles.
"ThereI have setthe arkin whichis the covenantof the LORD,whichHe madewith the sonsof Israel."
Arise,O LORD,to Your restingplace,You and the arkof Your strength.
He measuredits length,twentycubits,and the width,twentycubits,beforethe nave;and he saidto me, "Thisis the mostholy[place]."
