Now they beganthe consecrationon the first[day] of the firstmonth,and on the eighthdayof the monththey enteredthe porchof the LORD.Then they consecratedthe houseof the LORDin eightdays,and finishedon the sixteenthdayof the firstmonth.
The porchin frontof the naveof the house[was] twentycubitsin length,correspondingto the widthof the house,[and] its depthalongthe frontof the house[was] tencubits.
Then Davidgaveto his sonSolomonthe planof the porch[of the temple], its buildings,its storehouses,its upperrooms,its innerroomsand the roomfor the mercyseat;
Then they wentin to KingHezekiahand said,"We have cleansedthe wholehouseof the LORD,the altarof burntofferingwith allof its utensils,and the tableof showbreadwith allof its utensils.
In the firstyearof his reign,in the firstmonth,he openedthe doorsof the houseof the LORDand repairedthem.
"They have alsoshutthe doorsof the porchand putout the lamps,and have not burnedincenseor offeredburntofferingsin the holyplace to the Godof Israel.
The porchwhichwas in frontof the house was as longas the widthof the house,twentycubits,and the height120;and insidehe overlaidit with puregold.
sincethey couldnot celebrateit at that time,becausethe priestshad not consecratedthemselves in sufficientnumbers,norhad the peoplebeen gatheredto Jerusalem.
