He saidto the judges,"Considerwhatyou are doing,for you do not judgefor manbut for the LORDwho is with you when you renderjudgment.
"Considernow,for the LORDhas chosenyou to builda housefor the sanctuary;be courageousand act."
Ifyou seeoppressionof the poorand denialof justiceand righteousnessin the province,do not be shockedat the sight;for one officialwatchesoveranother official,and there are higherofficialsoverthem.
You shall donoinjusticein judgment;you shall not be partialto the poornordeferto the great,but you are to judgeyour neighborfairly.
ThenHe saidto them, "Beware,and be on your guardagainstevery formof greed;for not [even] whenonehas an abundancedoes his lifeconsistof his possessions."
And He said,"Seeto it that you are not misled;for manywill comein My name,saying,I am[He],' and, 'The timeis near.'Do not goafterthem.
When the centurionheard[this], he wentto the commanderand toldhim, saying,"Whatare you aboutto do?For thismanis a Roman."
And he saidto them, "Menof Israel,take carewhatyou proposeto dowith thesemen.
You shall not showpartialityin judgment;you shall hearthe smalland the greatalike. You shall not fearman,for the judgmentis God's.The casethat is toohardfor you, you shall bringto me, and I will hearit.'
"Onlybe verycarefulto observethe commandmentand the lawwhichMosesthe servantof the LORDcommandedyou, to lovethe LORDyour Godand walkin allHis waysand keepHis commandmentsand holdfastto Him and serveHim with allyour heartand with allyour soul."
