"Be strong,and let us showourselves courageousfor the sakeof our peopleand for the citiesof our God;and may the LORDdowhatis goodin His sight."
"Now,my son,the LORDbe with you that you may be successful,and buildthe houseof the LORDyour Godjustas He has spokenconcerningyou.

Then SaulclothedDavidwith his garmentsand puta bronzehelmeton his head,and he clothedhim with armor.
"Ifit pleasemy father[to do] you harm,may the LORDdosoto Jonathanand morealso,if I do not makeit knownto you and sendyou away,that you may goin safety.And may the LORDbe with you as He has beenwith my father.
"For ifa manfindshis enemy,will he let him goawaysafely?May the LORDtherefore rewardyou with goodin returnfor whatyou have doneto me thisday.
Then Saulsaidto David,"Blessedare you, my sonDavid;you will bothaccomplishmuchand surelyprevail."So Davidwenton his way,and Saulreturnedto his place.
Then Samueltooka stoneand setit betweenMizpahand Shen,and namedit Ebenezer,saying,"Thusfarthe LORDhas helpedus."
